Neighbourhood

Göteborg is a harbour town, famous for it's fish restaurants, it's vivid music life, the amusement park Liseberg, our trams and Volvo. The city centre is small and easy to walk or bike in. The tram will take you from the centre all the way to the ocean cliffs. In mid summer we are proud hosts to the worlds biggest youth football tournament Gothia Cup and in August city park Slottskogen is host to the music festival Way out West. From Göteborg there are ferry lines to Denmark but also small ferries to the archipelago with its small and charming islands, in some of which there are no cars aloud. The Torslanda area is nice and quiet, close to our home there is a supermarket. Car ferries just five minutes away take you to the northern archipelago. Small islands with both child friendly baths, shops and cosy cafés serving specialty bread "Hönökaka" and restaurants. We ourselves chose the location for our house with great care. It should be close enough to our work in the centre of town, with easy access by both car and bus. Still with nature around the corner and close to the ocean. The views over the neighboring houses and islands are stunning both at day when you can watch the weather changing quickly over the sea, and at night when the houses glow like stars.

Getting around

Our house is only a 20 minute drive from the city center and Landvetter Airport is 40 minutes away. The bus stop to town or the nearby islands Hönö, Öckerö and Björkö are only a 7 minute walk away.
