General overview

Perfectly located in Silver Sands racquetball community, with 15 pools and spas (we are steps away from two of them as well as the courts and club house). Whether you want to learn pickleball (free workshops in peak season), already enjoy playing tennis or pickleball, or want to skip the courts altogether, it’s an extremely friendly community.

The space

A stand alone villa with private courtyard as well as patio, 2 car garage and comes with two beds and two baths. Newly renovated, high ceilings, gorgeous views, comes with BBQ, a firepit, pool toys, comfy outdoor furniture, fireplace, and very well equipped kitchen. It works great for two couples sharing. Ike bedroom has a king size bed and the other a queen. Fast wifi and cable TV. Two work desk areas.

Guest access

No stairs. Access through manned gate then codes locks.

Notes

We need to pay a cleaner $175 per visit so ask our PLU visitors to cover that.

Neighbourhood

Fabulous scenic walking through the community which is pet and human friendly. 15 pools to explore during your stay. Our complex is entrally located in heart of Palm Desert. A few minutes drive or bike ride to El Paseo. You can also walk to several restaurants and grocery store. We are next to the JW Marriott if you want to have lunch or do a round of golf.

Getting to my home

Palm Springs Airport and we will highly recommend a particularly family owned car rental place who will leave a car for you with the keys at the airport along with a bag of fruit.

Sandra & Ron

We are Ron and Sandra, two almost retired professors on sabbatical. We have done lots of Airbnb rentals with our home but never tried an exchange. We are the proud parents of Tah, a very well behaved and affectionate Standard Poodle who could ideally stay behind to help our guests in some cases (he's extremely friendly), or come with us for others (depending on whether we can drive with him or not).
