Getting around

Although the beach is a short walk away and there are bars and restaurants nearby, we highly recommend getting a car. There is more to Maui than just the beach, and Kihei is a great base to explore all that Maui has to offer, including the Road to Hana, Haleakala'a Crater, Maui Ocean Center, Banyan Tree park in Lahaina, a luau, golf courses, Iao Valley, Paia town, and so much more!
