Neighbourhood

We have lovely neighbours around us and live in a great, safe community. There is a shop, cafe, restaurant, library, community centre, gym, bowls, tennis court and playgrounds, 'Secret Sauna',golf course in the village (5–10 minute walk). The lake is 800 metres from the house and is swimmable, the shore has BBQ spots. The river is 400 metres away (with walking and cycle track to Wanaka). There is a free community mountain bike park 400 metres from the house which is suitable for all ages. There are many tourist spots in nature nearby as we are within a few kilometres of the Hawea Conservation Park and an hour from Mt Aspiring National Park. Most other amenities are in Wanaka (big supermarket, cafes etc) and nearest superstores are in Queenstown.
