Fabulous house & location. Karen was so easy to work with and very flexible. Her home is cozy and very clean. Comfortable bed also.
Thank you Tracy. It was our pleasure to host you both.
Thank you for letting me stay in your wonderful home. It's beautiful and so relaxed i miss it already. The communication and guides were wonderful, and the location is great for the city or travelling further afield. Some lovely touches with the welcome pack and the local beer. I met the local deer and chipmunks. Great local amenities and felt totally at home. Thank you. I can't wait to come back next time i am in Philly
Karen’s home is lovely and super comfortable for our crew of 7. Karen was flexible to accommodate for our extra surprise guests. She was prompt, informative and helpful. We enjoyed the wonderful backyard with its fire flies and garden lights. The beds were super comfortable. I got my best rest there! The walk to the regional train to downtown was easy allowing us to spend the day in Philadelphia and evenings barbecuing and relaxing. Thank you Karen!
Thank you Maikhahn. It was a pleasure hosting your family.
We absolutely adored our stay at the comfy cottage in the Philadelphia suburbs. The home was much more than a cottage, it is luxuriously appointed and had all of the amenities that make home exchanging so attractive. Karen and Harris have lovingly decorated each room and their love of art, antiques, and fine things definitely shows.
The bedding was deluxe and our sleep was restful. Being in an excellent location had the home on a popular road; it even came with a train track out back (you have to look over the edge of the fenced backyard to see the tracks down below, I didn't know the track was there for days). Because the home is solidly built, we didn't hear a peep of traffic from road noise or from trains.
The kitchen was well equipped, the knives sharp, and the glassware abundant (very nice!). We were able to prepare meals and eat in a beautiful setting in the very large dining room.
Both bedrooms are a good size and the main bathroom was recently renovated. I especially enjoyed a few long baths in the soaking tub and felt like royalty.
One of our favorite activities was a visit to the essential American history site, Valley Forge National Historical Park. Stellar learning and outstanding outdoor spaces. The finale attraction for us was a timed visit to see jaw-dropping botanical displays and Christmas decorations at Longwood Gardens.
If you get a chance to visit Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, just say yes!
Karen and Harris stayed at our place for a pluto, they left our house clean and tidy and Karen communicated well with me about their queries.
Thanks for coming, enjoy the rest of your time in the UK!
Karen was a wonderful guest; friendly and easy to communicate with from start to finish. She left the cottage spotless and treated it with great care. We’d be delighted to welcome her back anytime and can highly recommend her to other PLUers.
We are delighted to be the very first home exchange partners for Karen and Harris. Communication was prompt and clear before, during, and even after the exchange.
Karen and Harris were excellent guests at the Oasis and competently fulfilled the important responsibility of preparing our home for the next family - a real feat for a first exchange!
We would welcome them back anytime.
Tracy and John were terrific guests. Communication was clear and timely and they took good care of our home. Would exchange with them again.
You can't beat the location of this home. Cheltenham is a lovely town, very near all the fabulous Cotswold villages and sites. It was easy to get in and out of town for our adventures. Communication with Ali was terrific. She was responsive before and during our stay. Thank you for sharing your home.
Thanks Karen. It was a pleasure to host you and Harris. Enjoy your travels around the UK!
We loved this cottage in the Somerset countryside. It was lovely, comfortable and completely charming. Federica was very responsive, and we had excellent communication before and during our visit. This location was wonderful with lots to do near and far. Would definitely stay again.
Meeting Drew was a pleasure. He took good care of our home, and we enjoyed the time we spent chatting with him before we left for our vacation. Hopefully, we be able to exchange again.
Hosting Maikhahn and her family for our nonsim exchange was wonderful. She communicated very well online and during our video call. We arrived home at midnight and found our home in spotless condition. They were also very nice to my neighbor when she stopped by for a quick chat. We cannot wait to visit their home in Valencia in April. Hopefully we'll get to meet in person.
The Oasis is a lovely place to relax. Barrie and Dave provided a comfortable home complete with a pool, a dock, and a variety a nature's friendly lizards and butterflies (outside, of course). Excellent water pressure, copious charging facilities, and plenty of supplies and every dish or implement you could possibly need.
The location is ideal. Close to the beach, marinas, and restaurants and shopping. Also close to I95 which makes moving around very easy. Can't wait to visit again!
Barrie and Dave left our home spotlessy clean and ready for us to fall into bed when we arrived home at 2am. They are welcome to visit any time!
