General overview
Our home is very spacious, yet warm and inviting all year round. Each bedroom has its own private bath, 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Double, and a bonus room with 4 Crate and Barrel bunk beds.
It is a lakefront home on the crystal blue waters of Kalamalka Lake - in the Okanagon region of British Columbia. We enjoy our secondary home with family and friends. We love taking walks in our beautiful neighbourhood, which is right beside Kalamalka Provincial Park (also full of hiking and biking trails).
We currently have a young, married couple living in one of the bedrooms and they take care of things when we are gone. The house is 5000sq ft, with plenty of rooms and beds for everyone, and this couple is quiet, very respectful, and wonderful hosts. (They are also in school/working most days and are out of the house).
In winter we take ski trips and enjoy world class mountains in the area, including cross country/nordic skiing; in spring and autumn we hike and mountain bike; in summer we boat, SUP, and kayak usually host friends for summer fun. Often summer the house is occupied, however every season has so much to offer in BC!
We are open to hosting in the summer, or a simultaneous summer/spring exchange to a European country as well. We are also open to simultaneous exchanges within BC.

Neighbourhood
Playground, within walking distance to the provincial Park with plenty of beaches and hiking trails. There are also plenty of mountain biking trails.
Getting to my home
Kelowna international Airport. There are Ubers but you will want a vehicle.
Nearest airport
Kelowna International Airport 25-30 min drive.
Getting around
There are public buses that come up the Coldstream area, it would be about a 10 minute walk to a bus stop. (maybe more). We suggest having a vehicle. Grocery stores are as close as a 7 minute drive.
