Neighbourhood
Uptown is a popular district in southwestern Minneapolis that is centered at the intersection of Hennepin Avenue and West Lake Street. Uptown is a colorful destination for retail, nightlife, and cultural events, and the district was famously written about by recording artist Prince.
North of Uptown is the Midtown Greenway bicycle and pedestrian path. To the west of the house is the Chain of Lakes including Bde Maka Ska, Lake Harriet, Lake of the Isles and Cedar Lake which feature bike and pedestrian trails, pocket parks and for Harriet and Bde Maka Ska, food and beverage options at Bread & Pickle and Lola on the Lake.
Getting to my home

Felicity
Originally from Australia, I've lived in Minneapolis for 27 years. I miss the beach and love beach vacations, but also cultural cities and nature. I love sharing Minneapolis with new and returning visitors with lots of restaurant recommendations and fun things to do.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
