If you are looking for a quiet getaway in wine country with all the amenities this is the home you are looking for. We had a group of 10 adults and I couldn't have asked for a better retreat with some of my closest friends. I would also say this house would be great for two families with kids as the Playroom is a great space to entertain children. There is a small store nearby, over 600 wineries, the Russian River, and the beautiful coastline. Francesca was easy to communicate with and her booklet for the house answered any question we had. I would love to stay again and highly recommend!

We has the most amazing days in Francescas’s familiy’s house. The house is so big and so cosy. We were 7 persons and We had more than enough space. The children loved the huge child room and We parents loved the luxuary. master bedroom with a view towards the garden with big Redwood trees. The terrace was so cosy with a view and atmosphere of nature. The garden with the trees, the river, the ziplines, socccer, basket ball etc was a paradise for both us and the children. We got a lot of great tips from Francesca- locals place to bath in the river, hikes where We were alone, cosy wineyard, golf course and We also spent time in close by villades Monte Rio, Guerneville and Occidental. I would love to come back and explore som much more of this fantastic area. Thank you Francesca for these amazing days ❤️🙏❤️

We loved our stay in Francesca and Dan's wonderful family home in Monte Rio. We spent a long weekend at their home, and we ended up barely going out to all the amazing sights of and activities in the area because there was so much to do on their property! Their property is a kids' wonderland: acres of activities like trampoline, ziplines, a creek, swings, hammocks, slack lines, balance beams, outdoor tables, and more. In the house, the kids' bunk room is fantastic for kids, and the adults' bedroom has spectacular windows looking out to the forest. And the hot tub-- such a peaceful way to end the day when the kids are in bed. I really could go on and on. The location is great -- near plenty of restaurant options in Monte Rio, Occidental, and Guerneville. Lots of hiking and river-sports activities nearby. But when you're at the house, you feel wonderfully secluded. Communication was perfect. Francesca and Dan were always responsive and helpful.
