Kids camp that my kids attended (they are now 22 and 24) and my niece and nephew also attended when visiting from Boston (they attended years before my kids did).

Important Community Note: Smoke-Free Environment

Manhattan Beach is a completely smoke-free community. Smoking is prohibited in all public areas, including outdoor spaces like beaches, parks, and restaurant patios, and cigarettes are not sold within the town. Our home is also smoke-free, and we expect  all guests to respect this policy during their stay.

Nearest airport

Los Angeles airport is less than 5 miles to our home.    Cab ride is generally about $23.  I can give you a link to a promo code for the cab.

Getting Around

Manhattan Beach is very walkable, so you don't need a car if you are staying in the surrounding area.    Easy walk to the beach, grocery stores, lots of restaurants, and shops.     A bigger mall is 2 mile walk.

I'm an empty nester looking to travel while working remotely. I'm not yet ready to retire, but I am ready to start traveling a lot more (I enjoy work more when I'm traveling and working). Manhattan Beach, CA is a beautiful beach town filled with great shops and restaurants, all within an easy walk of my house. I have a daughter, 25, and a son, 23.   They are off on their own exciting adventures, so I'll generally be traveling on my own or with a friend or relative.   Originally from Boston, I often find myself drawn back to the East Coast, so I would always enjoy an exchange in that area. My work requires fast internet (over 100 Mbps), and my house offers over 400 Mbps, ensuring you stay connected.
