General Overview

Our house is a charming one story with 5 bedrooms , 3 baths, looking out onto our 10 acre hayfield one direction, vineyard to the north, Siskiyou Mountains with Mt. Ashland Ski Resort to the southwest, town of Ashland 5 minutes drive away to the south.

The Space

Master bedroom is on one side of house and other 4 rooms are off one long hallway on other side, by garage. Quiet rural setting, on gravel road, great walking, biking or hiking on Pacific Crest Trail. Amazing views of neighbor vineyard, hayfields and mountains. Lots to,do in this Rogue Valley area, any wonderful restaurants and theater groups.

Getting to my home

Nearest airport is Medford. Portland is 5 hours drive away, San Francisco is 5 hours to the south. Coast is 3 hour drive, if you want to explore the beautiful Oregon coast.

Medford International Airport. Not a main hub, however, so you will be flying via Seattle, Denver, Salt Lake City or San Francisco.

Mike and I are in our mid 60’s, both retired, and we enjoy traveling at least twice each year. We are hikers, walkers, and snorkelers and tend to prefer smaller towns, with airport no more than an hour or so away. Going to Spanish speaking countries is a priority, and so we are interested in exchanges to any Spanish speaking country for now, as we both have been busy studying Spanish to improve our speaking skills. We also have 3 sons, 2 married, and they may or may not travel with us. We are excited to be a part of this group (joined Feb, 2023)! Connie
