Millennium Park in the heart of Chicago. Gather here to picnic in the grass, cool off in the fountain, catch free concerts and movie screenings, and so much more. Free activities abound throughout the year.
Spend an afternoon on the Chicago Riverwalk, lined with award-winning restaurants. Boat tours and kayak rentals also available, if you prefer to get out on the water.
Chicago is renowned for it's ethnic neighborhoods such as Chinatown, Little Italy, Greektown, Ukrainian Village, Little India. We love exploring these uniquely diverse neighborhoods.

Lombard is known as the Lilac Village. The city comes alive in spring with Lilac Time, a festival of spring flowers. Walk to Lilacia Park, famous for lilacs and flowers in Spring and Summer.
Lombard's winter wonderland and festival at Lilacia Park is a must see.
Paradise Bay Pool - 10 minute walk from our home. A great option for families with kids when needing a break from the hustle and bustle of Chicago beaches.
Morton Arboretum. Bike or 15 minute drive to this 1,700-acre conservation area. The Arboretum features an award-winning Children’s Garden, Maze Garden, and 16 miles of hiking trails. https://mortonarb.org
