Neighbourhood
We live at the end of cul-de-sac that is very quiet and traffic free. Children can play out front as well as take long walks/bike rides through the neighborhood. Just a mile away we have tennis/pickle ball courts, pond, boat ramp, grocery store, skate park, pharmacy, frisbee golf, BMX track and all the hiking and mountain biking trails you could ever need. We are a short drive to the beach, a beautiful, historic, downtown, a boardwalk, and the Cape Cod Canal. All of this is just in our town.
Cape Cod National Sea Shore 45 minutes
Ferry to Nantucket/Martha's Vineyard 30 minutes
Providence is 1 hour
Boston is 1 hour or 1/2 hour to commuter rail
Provincetown is 1 hour
Plymouth is 20 minutes
Western MA is 2.5 hours
New York City is 4 hours
NH/Maine - 2-3 hours
Nearest airport
Boston Logan is 60 miles away as is Providence airport. There is a small airport in Hyannis where you can fly over to Nantucket/Martha's Vineyard and also New York City.
Getting Around
You will want a car to go shopping or to restaurants. You could walk to a nearby store however you will want transportation to truly enjoy the Cape.
Please note most beaches on Cape Cod you have to drive to - we have a sticker for our town otherwise you can pay by the day but you must get there early.
While the Cape is notorious for traffic in the summer, our town, Sandwich, is quiet and residential. We are happy to help you navigate the traffic areas/times. If we are hosting you, we are also happy to drop you off at a beach or the boat to Martha's Vineyard or the train station to hop into Boston - just ask!

New York City 3.5 -4 hour drive
Coast of Main 2-3 hours
New Hampshire Mountains 3.5 hours
