General overview

Our house is isolated from the rest of the village. It is spread over two floors. The garden is large and habitable, with table and chairs, deck chairs, barbecue, to enjoy a space of freedom and privacy day and night. Inside, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 large kitchen with traditional working fireplace, 1 living room and 1 room with office and small balcony. Sea view location. It is a very relaxing and silent place, surrounded by chestnut trees. Private parking, a means of transport is essential to get around.

The space

The garden runs all around the house. It is equipped with an outdoor table and 6 chairs, 2 parasols, 4 deck chairs and two technical rooms with WC, washing machine and dryer. The garden is full of flowers and has arbutus and clementine trees. In the house, on the ground floor, there is the large kitchen, equipped with table and 6 chairs, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, Senseo pod coffee machine, toaster, hob with gas and ceramic glass and a traditional working fireplace. Next to it, a living room has a sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table, a TV with Fransat channels available and the possibility of using Smart TV features. Upstairs, a room with a secretary and small balcony leads to two bedrooms with large 160 cm beds and windows. All said rooms have a view of the sea. Still upstairs, there is the third bedroom with window and two 90 cm beds and the bathroom with shower, double sink with drawers, a storage unit, a dressing table with chair. All rooms are heated.

Guest access

The car park is private and exclusive. It can accommodate several cars and is located on the garden level of the house. The ground floor of the house and the garden are on the same level. An internal staircase leads to the bedrooms and bathroom upstairs.

Notes

A private means of transport is essential for any trip. For children, we provide: high chair, folding bed, folding bathtub, changing mat, folding playpen, books and colored pencils. Free Wi-Fi is available. Note that the quality of the internet connection in Cap Corse is very poor. Plan for alternative connection systems in case an internet connection is essential to you.

Neighbourhood

The house is located in the village of Cagnano, a small village in Cap Corse surrounded by nature which extends over several hamlets. It is a very quiet and private place, a good starting point to reach the beach or to go for walks or bike rides.

Bastia Poretta airport is 48 km away (1h10 by car). The port of Bastia is 28 km away (45 min by car). The house is easily accessible by car by the D80 from Bastia and by taking the D132 and the D432.

Getting around

Private transportation is essential. The neighboring village of Luri 8 km away (15 min by car) offers a supermarket, post office, pharmacy. In Santa Severa, 7 km (13 min by car), there is a petrol pump, basic food stores, hairdresser, bars and restaurants, boat and jet ski rental.
