General overview

This 3 bedroom, 4 season cottage is located on Sturgeon Lake, which has access to the entire Trent Servern Waterway. All the comforts of home, everything you could need, towels, linens, wifi, cable tv.

The space

Modern, clean one level house. Everything has been renovated. New mattresses, bedding, furniture.

Guest access

Guest has full access to the house and shed. There are kayaks and stand up paddle boards for use. Stairs to get down to the waterfront, where there is gradual entry into the lake. Clean waterfront, minimal weeds.

Neighbourhood

The Trent Severn Waterway is a haven for boaters who want to do “The Loop” through North America. The cottage is 15 minutes from Fenelon Falls and Lindsay, where you can see the lock system. Excellent fishing off the end of the dock.

Getting around

You will need a car to get to town, where you will find all the stores you need, or rent a boat, and go to town on boat. We are almost midway between Toronto and Ottawa. A great relaxing stop if doing a car tour in Ontario.

We are looking for long stays especially during our winter months, Nov-April, however realizing most will only want to exchange for one week, which we are certainly open to. Have travelled extensively in the US, Eastern Canada and a little bit in Europe. We love hiking, biking and water sports of all kinds, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, swimming, surfing, snorkelling, fishing, boating.
