General Overview

Our studio is located in Hackney Central, a lively and creative neighbourhood in East London. The area is well-connected, with the Overground from Hackney Central, you can easily reach central London, the museums of South Kensington, the shops of Oxford Street, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.

The Space

A modern 9th floor studio flat with a large balcony offering spectacular views towards the Olympic Park and Canary Wharf. Perfectly designed to maximize space, the studio has a dedicated sleeping alcove with a double bed, separated from the living space by a privacy curtain. A well-equipped galley kitchen along one wall with integrated appliances, a dining table for meals or work and if need be, a sofa that can convert into a double bed to create extra sleeping space. The washing machine/dryer is in a utility cupboard. There is a private communal gym in the complex and a daytime concierge.

Neighbourhood

Hackney is one of London’s most diverse and creative areas, full of energy and character. You’ll find a blend of old and new here — historic buildings, the Regent's canal sit alongside independent cafes, art galleries, and some of the city’s best street food. Broadway Market, a fifteen minute walk away, comes alive every Saturday and Sunday with fresh produce, local crafts, and food from around the world. It’s a great spot to grab a coffee, browse the stalls, or pick up something tasty for lunch before heading to London Fields or Victoria Park for a walk or picnic. You’ll also be close to lively neighbourhoods like Dalston, Shoreditch, and Hoxton, known for their buzzing nightlife, art spaces, and creative scene. For anyone who loves the outdoors, Hackney has plenty to offer — you can swim year-round at the London Fields Lido or the Olympic pool, and there are great routes for cycling or walking right from your doorstep. It’s the ideal base for experiencing the best of East London — vibrant, cultural, and full of personality.

Getting to my home

The apartment block is directly at Hackney Downs/Hackney Central overground station.

Nearest airport

We find Stansted airport to be convenient although Gatwick and Heathrow are also easy to get to

Getting Around

There is a supermarket directly opposite, but there are lots more supermarkets and other shops within a five minute walk. Hackney Downs overground is a 2 minute walk away and provide an excellent 8 minute transport link to Liverpool Street station. There are also bus-stops outside the block with frequent services into central London.
