Neighbourhood

A quiet cul-de-sac with easy access to the centre of Marple. The Middlewood Way starts very close to the house and goes all the way to Macclesfield - great for cycling. Marple has lovely canal walks. The Roman Lakes, with its archelogical site are also easily accessible. The National Trust Lyme Park is a 20 minute drive away and slightly further you are in the Peak District, with a number of places to visit including Chatsworth House, Castleton, Buxton Spa Town, Bakewell and Kinder Scout.

Getting around

Marple is approximately seven miles away from Manchester. There are two railway stations in Marple with direct trains to Manchester Piccadilly. The journey takes about 20 minutes. There is also a direct train link from Marple to Sheffield along the Hope Valley with stops in the Peak District. There is also a frequent bus service in to Stockport. Marple centre is a 10 minute walk away.
