Neighbourhood
Grocers, gas stations and an excellent bakery are all within quick access, as well as instant access to trails through forests and fields. The famous Jacob’s Trail passes in front of the house, so you won’t be surprised to see a random pilgrim with their pack passing in the warmer months.
Getting to my home
The apartment can be reached by train and bus with little complication, with a bus stop just meters away from the apartment. The nearest regional train station is Ulm, a short 8 minute train ride. From Ulm, high speed trains are available from Stuttgart, Munich, Frankfurt or Zurich with relative ease and speed.
Nearest airport
Stuttgart and Munich International airports Are almost equidistant from the apartment, each within 70-90 minutes by car. Other major international airports include Frankfurt and Zurich, which can be reached by high speed train within a few hours.
Getting around
It is possible to arrive and stay without a car, since the village baker and grocer are within five minutes by foot. (You must be in walking condition, however.) The famous Abby of Oberelchingen a stone’s throw away has a historic restaurant, offering delicious regional cuisine. A welcoming beer garden is available in the warm months.
