General overview

My home is my sanctuary. I designed and renovated it myself ten years ago. Its situated in a renovated building from 1890 with beautiful 3,50 m high ceilings and original decoration. The living room and the large living kitchen (ca.40 sqm) are facing south and are beautifully sun-lit and filled with two cosy sofas and a comfy dining-table sofa and lots of cushions. These two rooms are also facing Görlitzer Park. The practical kitchen itself with induction cooker and oven and lots of space to prepare meals I also designed myself. All floors are wooden, either the old floors from 1890 or new oak wood floors. Most doors are beautiful old high double wing doors and connect the rooms really well and give a spacious feeling. The master bedroom and the guest room/working room and the bathroom are facing the really quiet, green courtyard garden. The walls of each room are painted with characteristic colours, in the bedroom I kept an old grey-red plastering and added a discreet blue tor example. In the living room there is a huge photo collage above the sofa which I did in my free time (there’s more on leonardgrosch.de). The bathroom consists of a bathtub with shower directly at the window, so you can see the trees and the sky out there when you take a bath. Since there is ivy in the front of the window, neighbours will not see you when you take a shower. I recently renovated the guest room. If you wanna work there, you will find a beautiful working table from 1780 (yes true, that was around the French revolution) and a computer monitor that you might wanna plug your laptop in. The Farrow and Ball Beetle Green on the wall will hopefully give you either sweet dreams or ideas for your work. The bed is 1,80 x 2m. In the guest-room there is only a 1,40 m futon. Should you want to come with children or more than 2 people I could arrange another mattress.
