The Space

The townhouse is bright and sun-oriented, designed to feel open and welcoming from the moment you step inside. On the ground floor, you’ll find a cosy living room with a sofa-bed, a convenient powder room, and a fully equipped kitchen that opens into the dining area. A charming reading nook completes the space — all with wide windows facing the pool and outdoor areas, bringing in natural light throughout the day. On the second floor, the master bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed and direct access to the master bathroom. This floor also includes a quiet office, perfect for remote work or planning your Oporto adventures. The third floor hosts the second bedroom, furnished with two twin beds and/or sofa, as well as a second full bathroom, offering privacy and comfort for additional guests or family members. Outside, the courtyard is your private oasis. It includes a refreshing pool, a relaxing sitting area, and a small garden with a covered lounge space, ideal for the hottest days when you want shade and tranquillity.

The house has 2 flights of stairs.

Notes

Not baby or child friendly because of the stairs, open railing and bedding. Not wheelchair friendly. Free street parking. Maximum 2 weeks, and Globes are welcome. The cleaning fee is €100 at the end of the stay.

Neighbourhood

The townhouse is located right in the heart of Bonfim, one of Porto’s most authentic and creative neighbourhoods. Bonfim has a distinctly local atmosphere, where traditional Portuguese life blends naturally with an artsy, youthful energy. As you walk around the area, you’ll notice art schools, small independent galleries, cosy cafés, bakeries, and neighbourhood restaurants that give the district its unmistakable charm. It’s a place where you can enjoy the city at your own pace: slow mornings with coffee on a terrace, afternoons exploring local shops, or evenings discovering small, character-filled bars and eateries. Although it feels relaxed and residential, Bonfim is also incredibly convenient. Several bus routes and metro stations are just a short walk away, making it easy to reach every part of Porto without relying on a car. You’re also close to the city centre, major shopping areas, and the Sporting stadium, all within comfortable walking distance. Bonfim offers a genuine experience of Porto, vibrant yet calm, central yet not crowded, and full of small discoveries around every corner. It’s the perfect setting for guests who want to feel connected to the culture of the city while still enjoying comfort and tranquillity at home.

Airport Francisco Sá Carneiro. Uber or Cab > 12 minutes away (metro and bus are also available)

Getting Around

Getting to the house is simple and convenient. The townhouse is located in the Bonfim district of Porto, easily reached by public transport, taxi or private car. If you’re arriving from the airport, the easiest option is to take the metro directly into the city. The Purple Line connects the airport to central Porto, and from there it’s just a short taxi or ride-share trip to the house. A taxi from the airport usually takes around 20–25 minutes door-to-door. For guests arriving by train, Campanhã Station is the closest station. A short taxi ride will bring you directly to the house. If you’re driving, the Townhouse is straightforward to reach through the main city avenues, and you’ll find street parking available around the neighbourhood. Once you arrive, simply ring the doorbell and step inside your private retreat in the heart of Bonfim.
