General Overview

An architect-designed, passive heating and cooling home in the McLaren Vale wine district. In the historic town of Willunga and walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and pubs.

The Space

The two-storey house is set on a large 2,000 square meter (half acre) block of native garden and has solar power and a solar battery. There are two double bedrooms, TV snug, library and open plan living space.

Guest Access

Two floors with a staircase to the lower floor (laundry). The main living spaces are all on one flloor.

Notes

Supermarkets are in McLaren Vale (about 6 km away) which is the largest town in the district. The beach at Port Willunga is 8km away and has been regularly rated one of the best beaches in South Australia.

Neighbourhood

The McLaren Vale is one of Australia's leading wine regions with more than 50 cellars doors in the valley. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood in a small town about 45km from the capital city of South Australia - Adelaide. Bus and train travel to Adelaide is possible.

Getting to my home

House can be reached from Adelaide by train (to Seaford station ) and then 751 bus (hourly) to Willunga and a short walk to our home.

Nearest airport

Adelaide airport is a 50 minute drive away.

Getting Around

The house is walking distance to shops, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and the weekly farmers market.
