Neighbourhood
Pueblo Español or Son Españolet is a wonderful neighborhood to live in, in fact it is one of the most sought after in Palma. It is very quiet but very close to everything. We walk to the center of Palma and we are one step away from Santa Catalina.
Nearest airport
Son Sant Joan is about 15 minutes from home by highway. A bus leaves you from there in the center of Palma.
Getting Around
The highway that takes you to the rest of the island is three minutes from home but you will not see or hear it.
The Santa Catalina market is a very attractive fresh product market and its surroundings are very lively both day and night with tapas bars, drinks, restaurants... (but we didn't hear the noise from home)
In a 15-minute walk you are in the center of Palma and you can also use the municipal bicycles to get around.
The most famous thing about Mallorca is its beaches, of course. But Palma is a beautiful city with a lot to offer. It has a history written by all the cultures that settled here and that has been reflected in its walls, its cathedral, its old streets... it's worth it.
