Imagine after an exciting day exploring the bustling crowded Hanoi, you come back to a modern fully-equipped house in the greenest and quietest zone of Ecopark neighbourhood.
My parents are looking for PRAGUE, VIENNA
The space
Finally our parents are persuaded to list their home on PLU! They are looking for PRAGUE, VIENNA.
This second house of theirs is in Ecopark Township right at the edge of Hanoi, Vietnam.
4 floors (ground, 1st, 2nd and top), all rooms with AC.
Living space:
+ 1st floor
+ big sofa
+ big smart TV with YouTube, Netflix and Chromecast
+ dinning table for up to 6 people
+ fully-equipped kitchen (no dishwasher, no microwave but there is an airflyer that can replace microwave function)
+ small WC with washing machine and sink
Bedrooms:
+ 3 ensuite bedrooms, each has a bathroom with WC and shower
+ Bedroom 1 (our parents' room): 1st floor, north-facing, king bed, wardrobe, shelf
+ Bedroom 2: 2nd floor, south-facing, king bed, shelf
+ Bedroom 3 (above bedroom 1): 2nd floor, north-facing, wardrobe, no bed yet but can be easily added.
Ground floor:
+ Small back yard, garden, shoe shelf, hanger
+ 2 bikes for adults
+ 1-2 scooters: can be borrowed
Top floor:
+ Extra room (above bedroom 3): 3rd floor, north-facing, half reduced-ceiling, no bathroom, empty but can be furnished
- Terrace for hanging laundry (above bedroom 2): solar & wind energy works like wonders here!
Guest access
- Access from the back of the house (the room facing the street on the ground floor is rented to a company, very quiet).
- 20-step stairs from GF to 1F
- 14-step stairs from 1F to 2F or from 2F to 3F
Notes
Please equip yourselves for tropical climate:
- Mosquito spray/balm
- Using our mosquito nets when sleeping
- Close the mosquito layer when open windows
My parents also have a small and old house 2km from Hanoi city centre. This house is not nice or modern to European standard so they are a bit reluctant to swap it, but that's where they can stay any time to let you stay at their Ecopark home.

Tu & George were exceptional guests in many ways. First & foremost, they helped with acquiring, delivery and setup of our Neocharge home wifi. Tu was an excellent communicator and kept us informed during the exchange process - when they arrived and when they left. We were also impressed by how respectful they were of our house rules. (Japanese quietude, trash disposal guidelines etc) They were also very generous in sharing their travel tips for Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto & Hiroshima. Thank you for being such a wonderful guests! -
Tu & George is our first true overseas PLU HE guests whom we had had extensive communication prior and during the exchange. They're thoughtful, generous with a good insight into the sensitive nature of HE in Japan in an apartment complex. They've been very helpful and generous with their time & efforts in helping with the logistics towards acquiring, delivery and setup of the NeoCharge Pocket wifi for our Osaka apartment. Tu is easy to talk to, very quick to respond with a willing and open heart. We look forward to spending time at their Prague apartment in August 2024 and their Java home in the yet to be determined future. We'll not hesitate to welcome them again to our Osaka apartment if they would like to return! Thank you, Tu & George!

Tu and George were great guests, they were communicative and positive at all times. It was really good to see them enjoying my local area in Edinburgh and other areas of Scotland during their stay. They looked after my home perfectly. We didn’t get to meet face to face, but maybe another time. -
Tu & George were our first guests at PLU. You couldn't ask for a better start. They were actually our dream guests. Guests who temporarily move to Vienna, live and work in Vienna, Austria in the medium term and not just for a few days. We could completely rely on them. Not only did they keep our apartment tidy, but they also helped keep our IT office running. Tu keeps you updated every day - we learned quickly every day what life is like in Vienna. It was a great security for us to know that our apartment and office were in good hands. -
George and Tu stayed in my place for a little over a week in May 2023. They were the perfect guests. Communication was easy and pleasant and frequent. They left my place in pristine condition; it was such a pleasure for me to walk into my own home and find it so clean and tidy. They are very nice and kind people and they were very interested in Barcelona and how to enjoy it, as well as enjoying typical Argentinean food 😋. Tu and George were an absolute pleasure to host during our first ever home exchange experience. As first-time home exchangers, we were a bit nervous about the process, but Tu and George made it such a wonderful experience. They were extremely respectful and considerate of our home and belongings, and they left everything in perfect condition upon their departure. They were also great communicators throughout the entire process, and making sure that everything ran smoothly. We feel incredibly lucky to have had such wonderful guests for our first home exchange and we would highly recommend them to any future hosts. We would love to host them again in the future. -
We are grateful that Tu and George could stay in our home and take care of our pet and plants, while we were on a trip to Italy. We had a change to meet both before and after the swap which was wonderful. They took excellent care of our flat and prepared it for our next guests, who reported that everything was tip top! Our communication was smooth and easy both before and during the exchange. We will be happy to host them again any time and can highly recommend an exchange with this lovely couple. We are minimalists and low-waste followers living in Prague, with a beach house in Indonesia. Recently persuaded my parents to offer their home near Hanoi, thus there is a 3rd listing on our profile. We seek joy from helping others, being productive, good food, roller-coasters, biking, diving, exchanging cultures, and absorbing knowledge.
George is a typical full-remote IT guy 💻. An introverted "country boy" from a tiny village. The first one with a degree in his family. Having lived in Prague, Edinburgh and Palma de Mallorca, he is passionate about biking and water sports. He has SCUBA dived 50+ times! George has a kind heart, his veins are full of scars from blood donations, 13 years and counting! Whenever there’s a problem in our building, he is always the first one jumping in to solve. He is (a bit too) proud of his 1000+ streak on Duolingo. He dreams of relocating to a bike-friendly coastal city in Europe.
Tu is a real estate valuer in an international firm, also full remote. Having lived in Hanoi, Prague, Colorado, Strasbourg, she thinks global and acts local. After her quarter-life crisis in 2019, she finally found the core values that she happily lives by: Compassion❤️, Integrity ⚖️, and Making a difference🎗️. She started donating blood from the same age as George did. Since 2017, striving for an eco-friendlier world is her focus, at home, at work, and everywhere she goes.
