Neighbourhood

I have lovely friendly neighbours and a great community. This is a diverse area where families, couples and young adults live. The area has lots of local restaurants about a 10 minute walk away as well as local independent and 'chain' cinemas within walking distance and easy reach. I am close to parks and woodland.

Nearest airport

London is well served by 4 airports with good train and tube transport links from the airport to our house.

Getting Around

Local shops are 2 minutes away and the local pub 5 minutes away. Muswell Hill has a village feel and is 10 minutes walk. The bus stop is at the end of our road enabling quick access to the London Underground system into central London.

Hello, I am Val, recently retired, with a passion for travel. Sadly, my husband died recently and I have only just felt able to begin exchanging again. I live in a leafy, friendly road in Muswell Hill, North London, it's a lovely community just like the PLU community. We've raised our 2 'children' here in our Edwardian 4 bedroomed house since 1993. They have long since flown the nest to Wales and Sydney Australia! My home is well situated for buses, tube (metro) and trains into central London as well as a 20 minute train ride to the countryside. I live very close to local parks - Alexandra Park, and Highgate Woods and Hampstead Heath is 3 miles away. There is a handy parade of shops 2 minutes away and a local pub 5 minutes away. Muswell Hill has a friendly village feel and is 10 minutes walk away. There's an abundance of cafes, shops and a few supermarkets there.
