General overview
Apologies for the low response rate. We were in the middle of my child’s exams and my father in law had taken ill as well. We are normally on the ball but sometimes life events get in the way. Everything back to normal now.
We are a family of 4 plus one lovely dog. I work with the local government as a trainer and my husband is in charge of an oil rig in the North Sea and works away half the year. We have two boys 15 and 12 who are both still at school so at the moment we are restricted to school holidays and my husbands offshore shift pattern.
We have a lovely 4 bed detached house in the beautiful village of Broughty Ferry. Our village is right on the East Coast of Scotland close to Dundee so we have lots of beaches nearby. We are an 30 mins from St Andrews in the car, or 10 minutes to Carnoustie for any golfers. We are 1 hour away from Edinburgh, Aberdeen and 1.5 hours from Glasgow and 2 hours to Inverness. Our house itself is situated in a quiet cal de sac with the most amazing neighbours who are so friendly without being intrusive. . We have a good size back garden with outside furniture to enjoy the sunshine…when it eventually arrives in Scotland! Downstairs in the house we have a good size kitchen/diner with utility room, living room, siting room, and cloakroom toilet and a double garage. . Upstairs we have 4 bedrooms - although one is a piano room at the moment but a pull down single bed could fit in there if really needed.
The master bedrooms has:- 1 superking bed with en-suite. - no picture uploaded of en-suite as it’s currently being renovated. Will have double shower, toilet and wash basin when complete.
Bedroom two - Double bed
Bedroom three - Double bed
There is also a family bathroom upstairs. All bedrooms have tv’s in them. There are computer consoles in the the 2 double bedrooms too incase you have children that would like to access these.
We have a double garage with lots of mountain bikes you are more than welcome to use and a few paddle boards and an inflatable canoe. We are quite an outdoor family so you’re more than welcome to use any of these items.
Parking is available for 2 cars.
We are on routes for buses and the train station is either 10 minute bus ride away or a 20 minute walk. We have a few local shops within a few minutes walk from our house and a lovely hotel where you can have a few drinks and a meal. We also have the most amazing walks nearby. We are 10 minutes from the countryside and 20 minute walk will take you to the beach,

Upstairs we have 4 bedrooms - although one is currently being used as a piano room.

We are a family of 4 who live in a village on the East Coast of Scotland called Broughty Ferry. My husband John and I have two boys aged 12 and 15 and a red fox Labrador called Cooper. We have never exchanged in the past, so we are completely new to all this, but also excited about the adventures that may lie ahead. Our house lies 1 hour away from Edinburgh, Aberdeen and 1.5 hours from Glasgow. 2 hour road trip will take you to Inverness. We are also very close to lots of amazing golf courses for the golfers in the family. Carnoustie is 10 minutes away, and 30 minutes will take you to St Andrews. My boys and husband all love the golf.
