General overview
Our home is situated in a quiet neighborhood of the city of Freiburg. The house is constructed according to a split floor plan and we have 4 rooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a sizeable living room and a sou-terrain entertainment room. We also have a garden and we are situated close to two different lakes. The city center is 20 minutes away by public transport. The house is fully equipped with all the amenities one would need and has its own security system.
The best part of the house is that every room has large windows and the house is flush with sunlight
The space
The house is built on split floor plan. It has for levels. The highest level contains two rooms - a master bedroom and a guest bedroom - and a bathroom with a bathtub. The "ground level" has the kitchen and the living room. A level lower are two rooms which we currently use as our individual office rooms and below that is the sou-terrain entertainment room.
All rooms come equipped with large horizontal windows which lets a lot of light in.
The house also has a garden and patio with a lot of sunlight.
Guest access
The house might not be particularly easy for perople with disabilities. We have 4 different levels. While the stairs are super easy to climb, they are unfortunately not wheelchair friendly.

Neighbourhood
We live in a quiet leafy neighborhood and there are two lakes within walking distance of our place. The neighbors tend to be friendly.
Just behind our home is a small wooded area and during spring and summer, bird song will wake you up. Prepare yourself to be visited by squirrels - we have befriended a fair few and all of them are named Bob.
Freiburg is a young student town and very international in style and flair. The city can be used as a base to explore the black forest. The options for hiking and cycling are nearly unlimited. The black forest is also an ideal place for winter sports.
Switzerland and France are a stones throw away and there are many day trip options.
Getting to my home
Once in Freiburg city center, our home is 20 minutes away by public transport (and 20 minutes by bike). Freiburg is well connected to other parts of Germany and Europe by train.

Basel-Mullhouse-Freiburg. 60kms away.
Getting around
Public transport is easily accessible. The nearest tram stop is 6 minutes by walk.
