General overview
Our home is a modern 3 bedroom apartment in vibrant Peckham. We have a baby son so our home is set up for travellers with a baby (the smallest room has a crib). The apartment development has lovely communal gardens where the children who live here play. We have 2 balconies which offer lovely sunsets and a view of the park by our flat. The home is incredibly quiet despite being in the heart of Peckham, one of London's best places for food and drink.
The space
The apartment is on the second floor of a modern gated complex. The main room is open plan and includes the kitchen, dining and living spaces, and opens onto a small balcony that overlooks the tree canopy of Cossail Park. There is space for family dining and we have a Stokke high chair that is suitable for babies and young children to use. The apartment also has super-fast broadband throughout and Netflix/ Sky TV subscriptions. The flat is very quiet as it is set back from the main road, as well as being warm in winter and cool in the summer. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and en suite shower room. This bedroom also opens out onto the larger balcony which looks out over the communal gardens and benefits from the evening sun (and often beautiful sunsets over Peckham). Next to the main bedroom is the baby's bedroom complete with changing table and cot bed, which is suitable for babies and children up to 3 years. We also have toys, a bouncer and a jungle gym which families travelling with a baby may appreciate. The third bedroom is set up as an office and spare bedroom. The sofa bed in this room converts to a very comfortable (firm) kingsize bed which could accommodate older children or two further adults. Our flat also has a family bathroom with a full bath and shower over it. The washer-dryer is in a separate laundry cupboard off the hallway which guests are welcome to use.
Guest access
The apartment is on the second floor and is accessible by lift. The apartment itself also has no stairs and the doors are wide enough for wheelchair access. However, the flat is not fully wheelchair accessible as the main entrance to the development and the communal ground floor entrance has several doors which are not equipped for wheelchair users. The apartment is accessed via fob entry to a secure gate to the communal grounds and another secure door to the apartment building.

Neighbourhood
Peckham is a vibrant multicultural neighbourhood with an exciting food and drink scene. It's a mix of more established families as well as students from the two universities nearby. Cossail park, which is adjacent to the flat, is a small park with a playground and basketball court, however, 15 minutes walk away is Peckham Rye Park (pictured) which features a fantastic playground, lake and views of central London. Peckham is also known for its nightlife, including Frank's, a rooftop bar with views over London (pictured) and Bar Story. Renowned restaurants such as Kudu, Arturi, the Begging Bowl, Forza Win, Peckham Cellars are also right on the doorstep. There are also delicious streetfood options such as Filishak, Manze pie shop (pictured), Cravings La Caretta and the various offerings of Copeland Park (also pictured). For a traditional English Breakfast head to Crossroads Cafe in nearby Nunhead. If you want to visit a great local pub, try the Prince of Peckham (great Jamaican food), the White Horse, the Old Nun's Head, the Victoria or the Montpelier.

Getting to my home
The closest station to the apartment is Queens Road (an 8-minute walk). It is also close to Peckham Rye (a 12-minute walk). Alternatively there is also a direct bus from Paddington and Kings Cross. We do not have an allocated car parking space but parking in the surrounding streets is free and unrestricted.
Nearest airport
Accessible from all London airports, however, the closest two are London City and London Gatwick.
Getting around
Queens Road Station is on the London Overground line and has very regular trains to popular neighbourhoods such as Shoreditch, Hackney and Sough towards Crystal Palace and Clapham. It is also on a National Rail line which will take you to London Bridge in 6 minutes (if you want to visit the fantastic borough market or the famous Bermondsey Beer Mile). Peckham Rye station is on another National Rail line with direct trains to London Victoria and London Blackfriars. There is not a local London Underground Station, however, if you take the Overground two stops from Queens Road you can change onto the Underground at Canada Water station. If you prefer to see the sights from a London bus there is a very quick bus service to nearby Greenwich, Camberwell, Brixton or even into the West End.
