General overview

It is our pride and ultimate home base: our large house with garden in the center of Zwolle. A new, sustainable and comfortable house with a beautiful view of the old town and the typical Dutch city canal. Super centrally located in the Netherlands, it is a perfect base to explore the Netherlands.

The space

On the ground floor you will find our large kitchen with dining room. The kitchen is equipped with all conveniences and appliances. Adjacent is a nice city garden. Our living room is located on the first floor. A nice, relaxed place with an acoustic piano for the musical travelers. From the living room you have a view of the beautiful historic city center of Zwolle. On the second floor you will find two bedrooms, the master bedroom and a children's or baby room. The bathroom has a bath and shower. On the top floor there is a roof terrace with the best view of Zwolle! The first floor is equipped with an extra living room and a bedroom with a double bed.

Guest access

Our house has 4 floors and is therefore not wheelchair-friendly. The house has both a front entrance adjacent to a bicycle path and a rear entrance adjacent to the garden.

Neighbourhood

Zwolle is a beautiful medium-sized city in the north-east of the Netherlands. A very central base: Amsterdam is 1 hour and 15 minutes away by car or train. The old city center has everything you need for a city trip. But nature is also nearby. Walking or cycling along the river IJssel, 10 minutes in the car and you are in the Veluwe nature reserve. From forests to heathland to meadows: the Zwolle area has it all. Don't forget to visit the beautiful old Hanseatic towns of Kampen, Hattem and Elburg. There is also plenty to do for children, such as the Dinoland amusement park within walking distance. We are happy to provide you with advice for active, cultural and culinary trips!

Getting to my home

Zwolle is a 1.5 hour drive from Schiphol Airport. Take the train, and you're even faster! The train takes you from Schiphol Airport to Zwolle in just 1 hour and 10 minutes. From Zwolle train station it is a 10-minute walk to our house. Parking at the house is possible in consultation.
