General overview
The Rockies await. If you like to ski, hike, bike, boat, shop, eat the most amazing food and enjoy the most creative arts - consider a stay in my 3-level townhome. Close to Denver, close to Boulder (minutes), and a couple of hours from the best ski resorts, come home to quiet loveliness and enjoy! Louisville has its own downtown that is just charming- great restaurants, an ice skating rink, outdoor concerts, breweries, cafes, and boutiques. Travel 10 minutes to Boulder and you can stroll the famous Pearl Street Mall and enjoy everything from healthy vegan to one of the best steakhouses in the country (won Top Chef). It is, well...Boulder! Another 15 minutes and you are in the amazing city of Denver with Broadway shows, Red Rocks amphitheater, restaurants, sports and everything a city can offer. If you are a winter enthusiast, the Rockies are the place to be. My house to the Winter Park ski resort takes about 2 hours. But don't limit yourself to skiing, pack a picnic and enjoy a snowshoe on Brainard Lake. Or drive to any of the historic small towns nearby. The Georgetown-Silverton loop railway will take your breath away. And then come home to tranquility and ease. Come enjoy the front range and marvel at the majestic mountains.
The space
I live in an HOA and the grounds around this small, family-friendly, inclusive development are pristine. My home is tucked away and quiet. The kitchen is stocked with everything. A small dining area leads into a living room with fireplace. Outside there is a deck. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one is outfitted as an office but can be slept in (Ikea lounger). There is a full bath. Main bedroom has a queen-sized bed that is adjustable for reading or watching TV. Downstairs there is a family room with a twin daybed, another bedroom outfitted for a child (twin), and lots of room to play. The laundry room and a second bathroom complete the lower (daylight) level. The 'feel' of the home is welcoming, peaceful, friendly, well-lit. You will just want to exhale :)

Getting around
You can walk to downtown Louisville. You can bike to Louisville as well. There are TONS of bike trials. A car is needed to points beyond.
I am a 69 year old lady who lives a vibrant life. I have two kids and two grands who live within an hour. I also have a very quirky dog. I have been retired for almost a year and I love retirement - my journeys have just begun. I live in beautiful Colorado but my ski days are over. I still hike, walk, kayak, snowshoe and have many friends who, like me, enjoy all manner of arts and theater, etc. I lean left politically and am active in social justice issues. I meditate and do yoga. Most important- I am a huge advocate of kindness.
