For stays under 1 week we have chickens in the backyard to look after, they are lovely and just need their food and water topped up and eggs collected for your use. Their feed and water can be filled enough for up to 3 days if you want to go away. Our neighbours will also look after them if needed.
We also have goldfish indoors and outdoors to feed daily. Again they can have food for a week at a time.

We had a lovely relaxing time in Nick and Frances’ home. It’s very well set up and everything worked well.
Wow, we loved this place.
Anyone looking for a beautiful calm environment should come here. Frances and Nick your home has everything we love, it’s simple, easy to manage and has sounds of the ocean. Your garden is amazing and who could beat having a bower bird to share your day. Plus this being our first PLU stay has been such a positive experience under your care. Also thanks for the marmalade. ps We ate at Hanoi on Manning and at Miss Arda in Kiama and we thoroughly recommend them your others guests .
We really look forward to having you stay at our place..
Fran and Nick's house is easy to find and felt cosy, friendly and welcoming. We experienced it in both good and bad weather and it was nice in both! There's lots of natural light and all the space is so well utilised. There's lots of nice flow from inside to out and we enjoyed the chickens and garden birds.
Everything was functional and easy to use and our teenager liked having his own space in the annexe. Being a short walk from a beautiful beach was lovely. The region itself is a great pleasure to drive through and so many interesting places, such as Kiama and Berry, are very close by. We had a wonderful stay and hope to visit again.
It was truly a pleasure to host Frances and Family!
Communication was always excellent, and they were wonderful guests—respectful, thoughtful, and leaving the house neat and well cared for. I’m very happy to hear that they enjoyed the home and the beauty of the surrounding area, from the river walks to the nearby National Park.
They would be most welcome anytime if they wish to return and explore even more of this special place. Thank you again and all the best!
It was an absolute pleasure hosting Frances. From the moment they arrived, communication was easy and thoughtful, and they treated my home with great care and respect.
They were wonderful guests: tidy and considerate. It was lovely to hear how much they enjoyed exploring Berlin.
I would be delighted to welcome them back anytime. Hosting Frances and her family was a joy, I only wish I could have met them in person, they seem like really lovely people.
Fran is very warm, friendly and down to earth and was a delight to swap with. Her confident, adaptable and positive approach seems ideally suited to the house swapping journey!
Valentina’s home in Bocca Di Magra was such a delight to stay in. Comfortable, homely, a loved and well stocked kitchen for those big meals around the table. The verandah for our morning tea and breakfasts and the view of the sun and moonrises added to our happy week.
We spent a few days walking up into the nearby National park and enjoyed the riverside walks immensely. Close to so many places we needed another week!
We 4 spent a relaxed and rejuvenating 3 nights at Rebecca’s home after a long haul flight. The apartment felt like home to us, comfortable, an excellent kitchen complete with sour dough starter and roomy. The beds were comfortable and the flat warmed up quickly.
Heading out was a joy as there were places to walk to, buses very close and the trains just around the corner. Getting into and out of the busy city was so easy.
Rebecca was in contact when we had a few questions .
All in all an excellent introduction to Berlin, many thanks to Rebecca and when return again, hope to repeat our stay!
From the moment that we made initial enquiries I knew that we would enjoy having Marylyn and Richard as guests .
Our communication has been open, friendly and helpful and when we did meet they felt like established friends.
In our home Marylyn and Richard were helpful, respectful and looked after the garden and animals beautifully.
The house was loved and left immaculate complete with a gift of homemade preserve and a curry. .
We are looking forward to visiting Marylyn and Richard in their home next year and sharing a cuppa.
They are welcome to come back anytime.
It was a pleasure from the first contact with Marylyn and Richard, all of our conversations and organisations along the non sun swapping was friendly and easy.
They loved and enjoyed our home as we do, ably looking after our chooks, fish and gardens.
Our home was immaculate on return and I am looking forward to meeting up again next year when we are in Tassie.
Jenny and Ian’s home is a joy to be in. Lots of natural light, warm as toast and everything that we needed was there. Loved the underfloor bathroom heating! A bonus were the bower birds coming in to the back yard each morning. Beautiful mountains garden with hellebores, daphne’ and bulbs coming up.
An easy walk to the shops, and town and longer walks into the Blue Mountains national park was special. Blackheath is a special place and equally as beautiful in the winter as the summer. Well worth a visit. We hope to rerun in the near future!
It was a delight to swap with Jenny and Ian, all of our online, texts and phone calls were timely, easy, friendly and open.
Our home was left clean and tidy and hopefully enjoyed for their holiday away. No hesitation to welcome back anytime.
Swapping the south coast for the Blue Mountains was an excellent idea! Thank you

Nick and I are semi retired health professionals who spend most of our spare time either cooking, gardening, bushwalking, cycling or swimming.
Our lovely home is available at least a few days each month, just ask us, we are very flexible. Our home is perfect for guests from the Northern hemisphere to warm up from the winter on our beautiful sunny coast.
We are going to spend time in Europe over the next few years and we are keen to do local exploring and swaps for up to a week at a time.
We have hosted our home as airbnb in the past but prefer the PLU organisation with like minded travellers. Can't wait to get started!
