General Overview

Our home is nestled in the beautiful Illawarra Escarpment over looking the Ocean. on the South Coast of NSW, Australia. Surrounded by lush vegetation and the stunning coastline, well known for it's surf beaches We love the accessibility to so many great areas that are close by like - Sydney Harbour & the Opera House is a 1 hour 15 min drive. - Kiama 45 min drive, - Gerringong 50 min dive - Beautiful Historic Berry is a 1 hours drive - Kangaroo Valley 1 hour 20 minutes drive

The Space

Our home is a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house. The layout of our home consists of 2 bedrooms with ensuites on one side of the house with the lounge, dinning and kitchen in the middle and the other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. The 2 ensuite Bedrooms have a Queen size bed and the 2 smaller rooms have double beds. There is a balcony off the living space overlooking the pool. The block is on a slope with the outlook toward the ocean and the beautiful escarpment behind and to the left. At the right time of year (around October) you can see whales breaching offshore from the kitchen and living areas.

Getting to my home

From interstate or international destinations the closes airport is Sydney Kingsford Smith, just over an hours drive from Thirroul. You can also catch a train from the airport with one change to get on the south coast line, or from Central station directly to Thirroul on the south coast line. Driving from Melbourne is about 8-9hrs. From Canberra is about 2 and a half hours.

Nearest Airport is Sydney Kingsford Smith which is about an hour and 15 minutes away depending on traffic.

Getting Around

Thirroul Village shops and train station is about a 15 minute walk. Buses to Wollongong run from Lawrence Hargrave Drive are five minutes walk from the house and take about 30 minutes. Train to Sydney from Thirroul takes an hour and a half. From Thirroul to Wollongong takes about 20 min.

Hi, we're a family of 4 who love to travel. We love to spend time in new places to experience the area, food, and culture. Our home is our primary home, and we enjoy making it comfortable for people who come to stay. We're very conscientious of caring for other people's properties. We have a pet cat, Pepe Tickles, who you would be sharing our home with (He's an inside/outside cat and really no trouble as long as he's fed, and has a nice nature).
