Our cottage is in upstate NY, north of the Catskill Mountains. It is on the same property as our main house.
Close to Windham and Hunter Mountains with skiing, hiking, mountain biking.
We are also near Thatcher State Park, with many outdoor adventures available!
Our cottage is about a 2 hr train ride from Albany or Hudson into NYC.
Our cottage is out on country roads, quiet and dark at night. Our small town is conveniently located about 3 miles away with a grocery store, hardware store, liquor store, farm store, a few restaurants, and a town park with beautiful walking trails.

The Space
Our one bedroom cottage is very cozy and simple. There is a queen bed, bathroom with shower, living room, kitchen with microwave, small fridge, 2 stovetop burners.

The entire cottage is for you to enjoy.

On our property are sheep, chickens and few barn cats.
We ask guests to take their shoes off in the cottage please.
No smoking.
Cleaning : We ask guests to leave the cottage as you found it. If you prefer, our housecleaner will do the cleaning for you, she charges $100.

Neighbourhood
The neighborhood is very quiet. You wont hear many human made sounds, but lots of animals.
Our home abuts forests and farm land.
Greenville is a paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
With the Catskill Mountains as your backdrop (https://www.visitthecatskills.com) you can embark on hiking and biking adventures along scenic trails.
In the winter, hit the slopes at the nearby ski resorts for a snowy escape. (30 min to Windham Mountain : https://windhammountainclub.com/) . Hunter Mountain and Catamount are also within driving distance.
Don't forget to visit the nearby Thacher State Park (https://parks.ny.gov/parks/128/) and the Wildplay Ropes Course ( https://www.wildplay.com/thacher/) a playground of opportunities for camping, fishing, and wildlife observation.
We are one hour from Saratoga Performing Arts Center - concert venue.
