General Overview
My home is a private, modern, light-filled space tucked away in one of Auckland’s safest and most central neighbourhoods. It’s tidy, easy to live in, and perfectly positioned - just a short walk to the beach, local cafés, shops, and some of the city’s best restaurants. You get all the calm and privacy you’d want, while still being right in the heart of Herne Bay.
The Space
My home is a modern, private one-bedroom space with an additional loft, filled with natural light throughout the day. It’s tidy, comfortable, and designed for easy living. There’s one bathroom, a dedicated carpark, and an open, airy feel that makes it a calm retreat while still being right in the middle of Herne Bay. It’s the kind of place where you can come home, close the door, and feel instantly relaxed.
** Please note these photos are from the home when i bought it last year, slight layout change and design change now.
Guest Access
Stairs up to the loft, and multiple step up's inside the house (one to bedroom, two to living room). No stairs up to the house.
Notes
I have a cat Larry who will also be here! He is a 4 y/o Ragdoll mix, and is very cuddly and affectionate. I'm sure you'll love him! Please only apply if you are happy to feed him.

Neighbourhood
Herne Bay is one of Auckland’s most beautiful and established suburbs - quiet, leafy and safe, with small beaches, parks, and local cafés all within walking distance. It feels tucked away but still incredibly central. Just next door is Ponsonby, known for its buzzing restaurants, wine bars, boutiques, and weekend energy. Between the two neighbourhoods you get the best of both worlds: relaxed, coastal living with some of Auckland’s best dining and shopping only minutes away.
Getting to my home
Also on a bus route, and central enough to drive and/or uber around.

Auckland Airport. 30 minute drive away

Bright one-bedroom home with loft in the heart of Herne Bay
Welcome to my place in Herne Bay, one of Auckland’s most beautiful and central neighbourhoods. It’s a one-bedroom home with an additional loft space, one bathroom, and a dedicated carpark. The area is incredibly walkable - cafés, shops, and great restaurants are all just around the corner.
You’re a 5-minute stroll from the beach and only a 10-minute drive to Ponsonby Road, making it the perfect base to explore the best of Auckland. Quiet, safe, and leafy but close to everything.
