General overview
Our home was built in the 1930's and since then it has been carefully renovated.
Last in May 2021 we have finished renovating the bathroom upstairs and the kitchen was renovated not long ago. The house is furnished in a modern/smart style and has many comforts.
Downstairs you find a hall/entrance with a under-the-staircase storage place, a livingroom, a diningroom, a modern kitchen and a toilet where you also find the heating system. Through the staircase you reach the upstairs hall as well as two good size bedrooms. Upstairs you also find the bathroom with a shower.
Upstairs and downstairs you can find two original tile stoves that give an extra cozy athmosphere during winter time. There is plenty of storage in the whole house.
Upstairs we offer sleeping space for 4 people while downstairs we have a pull-out soffa where two people can sleep confortably.
In connection to the kitchen we have an extra room.
You can easily park your car just outside the house.
In the property we also have a smaller house that we use as bike storage and Giulia uses it as an arts and crafts room.
The town of Moholm is located in the municipality of Töreboda and in the region of Västra Götaland.
Walking distance from the house you can find a pizzeria and a convenience store where you can find most of your necessities. Here you can find dairy- and gluten free products as well. Generally we go to the convenience store to purchase eggs from the local farmer.
Not far from the house we find a farm where we purchase eggs, honey, lamb and other wild meats.
The nearest towns are Töreboda, Mariestad, Skövde, Tibro and Hjo. They are all very cozy in their own ways.
We recommend for our guests to have a car while staying in our house since it becomes easy to access all the towns and national parks according to your own times instead of having to check the bus schedule. Here busses can go once per hour and even more seldom in the weekends or during the holidays.
In the area you can go cross country skiing, ice skating or winter hiking in the winter time while in the summer you have many national parks close by as well as beaches and picnic places. Our neighboors are really friendly.
