General overview
Our house and apartments sit on 6 acres of privacy. It is very serene here. The mountain is our backdrop and the view from the deck of the adorable cabin and pond is lovely for a cozy drink on the couch. We operate as a small homestead here working towards continued self-sufficiency.
The space
This is a 1 bedroom apartment. It has a king bed, sofa bed and twin air mattress, if needed. The property is not safe for children under 12.
Guest access
There is plenty of parking. 1-2 vehicles can be on the driveway that has 2 steps up to the deck. The apartment is on the opposite end of the building. There is a staircase outside the door that leads to the second floor where our boys live in a 2 bedroom apartment. The laundry room is accessible from their back patio area. Up a few more stairs is our main house, only connected by the roofline and staircase. Keyless entry is on the door and although you will be in close proximity to others, you may not see anyone while here.
Notes
We have two dogs, who will bark at you and sound scary, but really just want to smell you and get loved on. Smoking is only allowed outside and we don't allow pets since we accomodate guests with allergies. You will most likely see some critters that are cool and not so cool. Especially in the spring! We do have regular pest service.

Charlotte and her girls were great guests. We were able to meet them and learn a bit about them, which we loved. They left our Guest wing in great shape and are welcome back anytime. We hope they have the best journey traveling and exchanging homes with others :)
My girls and I stayed 2 nights with the Days in a 2 bedroom private part of their home. Since this was a hospitality exchange, they were home in the evenings and we got to meet them and spend some time getting to know each other. This was our first experience with exchanging and it couldn't have been better. We felt wonderfully welcomed and really enjoyed the experience. Brian and Chelce were awesome hosts, gave us some great tips for local spots to visit and we hope they can stay at our place if they are coming through E TN, or even just meet up for a meal! Sometimes traveling is easier/more comfortable when you don't have to interact with others, but it is refreshing to meet new like minded people who you can chat with for hours about our favorite topic of travel!

Charlotte
Hey ya'll! We are semi-recent transplants to TN from CA. Our 3 adults boys came with us and we have 2 teen girls. My MIL also moved here with us from AZ. I homeschool our girls and inlcude traveling as often as possible to enhance their education. We love experiencing new things and exploring new places. The boys are all busy with new careers so it's usually just us girls who travel. I'm self-employed and able to go whenever their sports allow us to get away.
