General overview
Do you want to find out why Vienna keeps topping the annual "Best places to live" lists worldwide? This is your chance to find out! We are a family of 4 with 2 boys aged 4 and 7 who live in a cozy, modern and functional apartment on the outskirts of the Austrian capital.
Our home is perfectly set up for people travelling with kids; we have 3 separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, a bathtub and a shower, a kitchen with high-quality appliances and a beautiful outdoor space including a BBQ.
Two bedrooms have king-size beds, the kids room has a safe and secured bunk bed and a great selection of toys, too.
Important: We are sharing our home with a very adorable and chill cat who sleeps most of the day and is very friendly.
The space
Our home is a beautiful family home with 3 separate bedrooms and 2 baths, located at the outskirts of Vienna but still super central and with easy access to the all major sights and the city center. We have a beatiful patio that wraps around two sides of the apartment, modern furniture and modern kitchen appliances.
Guest access
The apartment is located in the corner in a modern building built in 2018 with modern features and high-quality features with 23 units. Our apartment is located on the second-to-last floor with a lovely view on 2 sides. Guests have the whole apartment to themselves and enter through the main door.

Neighbourhood
Our neighborhood is more residential with many apartment buildings, dotted with small and large parks as well as 4-5 playgrounds only minutes away by foot. There are many supermarkets close by, a beautiful public pool that's amazing in the summer, plus great options for running, hiking and cycling as we are just at the bottom of Vienna's hills (Schafberg, Wilhelminenberg, Heuberg).
Getting to my home
Vienna can be reached easily via plane, rail or car. The public transport system in Vienna is equally amazing, very safe and very affordable, so most of the time you can get from A to B in the city within 30 mins in total.

Tram line 2 is just 2 mins away and takes you straight into Vienna's Inner City. Tram lines 43 and 44 are 7 mins away and both take you to the city center as well, along major subway stations. U3 subway station Ottakring (the final stop of the U3 line) is 10 mins walking.
We are located at the outskirts of the city, meaning it is a bit more quiet than in the inner city districts with beautiful parks, wineries, playgrounds and even an amazing public pool very close by. An excellent choice if you are a family with smaller children!
