A very typical Finnish residential area. Here you can live like a local. There's a shopping mall with a grocery store and other shops and restaurants next to the train station. A public swimming hall with a gym 300m from the apartment. You don't need any membership to enter, just pay as you go.

Conveniently located near train station (Martinlaakso) that has direct train to Helsinki city center (20 mins) and the airport (12 mins). 

Alternatively, you can take bus 400 to Helsinki center.

We loved staying in Krista's home in Helsinki. The location was great, we were right on the direct train line to both the airport and downtown. The area around the apartment was calm, close to amenities and forest trails. We booked city bikes to use during our stay and that was super cool. We biked around so much, Helsinki is a bike-lovers paradise. Krista was super helpful and available with answers to our questions. She met us at the apartment and helped us settle in. A really great exchange!

We had a wonderful stay in Timea's home over the Easter weekend, travelling with my mother and my two young children. The location is excellent – everything is easily accessible by public transport, and we especially found the bus connections very convenient for exploring Budapest. The apartment itself is spacious, beautifully renovated, and full of character. It felt both stylish and homely, and there was plenty of room for all of us to relax comfortably. We stayed in Susan's home in Auckland almost a week in July 2025. Even though it was winter in New Zealand, we really enjoyed our stay as Susan's home is very spacious and comfortable and well located. It is very close to Parnell Road filled with restaurants and shops, and Auckland city center is close as well. While we were not able to meet Susan in person, she is a really nice and responsive host and answered all our questions we had in mind. Thank you Susan for a memorable experience in Auckland!

We had a lovely stay at Hanu's family home in July 2025. We got to experience local Singaporean life and our kids loved the pool that is situated in the apartment complex. And a bonus if you like dogs, Cookie is an adorable dog. Hanu's apartment is very spacious and comfortable. We had two bedrooms to use which is very convenient for a family of four. There is an easy walk to the closest MRT station. We weren't able to meet Hanu in person but their very kind live-in helper made everything smooth. Hanu was also fast to respond to our messages.

Eunji's mom's home was in a suburban area of Suwon. We liked to live as locals and also loved the nearby brand-new shopping mall. It was very convenient with small kids with many options for food and children's playground. The home was lovely, clean and more spacious than in the pictures. Thank you for having us, Eunji!

We are a family of four (kids aged 5 and 3) and we love to explore the world even after our kids were born. We also have two furry family members (dogs) who are not traveling with us.

We love the idea of home exchange where you can live like a local and have an unique experience. As a family, we also need more space than a small hotel room.
