The district is a semi-central district in London considering the size of the city. It is a beautiful and typical English maisonette very nice and well maintained. Quiet and peaceful street. You can feel the real daily life of most Londoners. An excellent exchange.

We concluded an exchange in hospitality for our eldest son against a globe at Pip and Louise. It was a wonderful experience for him. Pip and Louise gave him a very warm welcome and were very attentive throughout the stay. It really felt like home. He enjoyed all the comforts and some very popular meals ;-) The communication with Pip before during and after the exchange was perfect, warm and humorous. He gave us good information on the methods of arrival, which reassured us. I think we share the same trading values and it was really a pleasure. We are really happy to have concluded this exchange, the first for them, and the first on PLU for us. It was a great meeting and we hope to have the opportunity to thank them in person in the future! We highly recommend chatting with Pip and Louise!

Emily's and her family had great communication throughout the whole process of the exchange which is very important to us. Her family home is a detached, large and very accommodating place - ideal for a family of four. The grounds that it sits in are extremely peaceful no background noise, just pure calm - it backs on to a large field with inspiring views. Large rooms - bedrooms and living rooms, kitchen etc. There was easy access to town and local amenities. It was a perfect place to come back to after a long days climbing up very big hills! Thank you to you all - Emily and family, we would definitely return if the circumstances allowed. Highly recommended!

Leonardo and his lovely family came to stay for 5 days at our place. As usual the communication was excellent all round. They have been doing this a long time now, much longer than us! and they are 'old pros' at it - you are in confident hands with them. We never really needed to communicate much as they went about their time here without any problems. They left the place like they'd never been here! it was exactly the same as we left it. Very respectful. Always friendly, warm and considerate they would be welcome in anyone's home! Hopefully they will come back in the future - and we will return to their beautiful place in Florence. Finally to say they left us a gigantic block of expensive Parmesan cheese! which we are 'still' eating our way through months later, very appreciated, thank you Leo and family!

Right from the start our communication Leonardo was nothing but helpful, polite and accommodating. He rearranged his schedule so we could go on the dates for my 60th birthday – very kind indeed. Meeting him, he was as he is in his messages - warm, friendly and very helpful. He gave us a lot of time explaining anything we asked about and was quite happy to do so. The apartment is clean, spacious, well equipped and well located. It’s very easy to get to from the Airport and even easier to get into the centre of Florence from it. Everything useful is nearby, like 3-4 minutes away! A great and useful co-op supermarket with a small restaurant and excellent sandwiches/cakes (very cheap too) and another supermarket literally around the corner. The tram stop is 3 minutes. All very close. Any questions we had were always immediately answered by Leonardo so we felt catered for. We were incredibly lucky as the weather was 20 degrees at the start of November with pure blue skies. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We are really looking forward to their reciprocal visit next year. A warm thank you from both of us. Highly recommended.

It’s probably easier to read our previous review of our 2024 stay at the flat to get the overall impression of just how nice the place is and just how responsive Julija and her family was.. But as a review is needed we’ll add this – yet again, they were and are very, very welcoming, the flat was left spotless for us. They are VERY responsive (so if you’re not sure what to do about something Julija will immediately start typing a helpful response for you). They were on their holidays at the same time I was sending questions about things but there was absolutely no hesitation in answering what we needed to find out. Very professional. They also have a helpful online ‘manual’ they’ve created to cater for most of the obvious things. There are endless things to do around Split, it is a fantastic place to come and stay. This time we saw lots of new stuff, including Strobrec beach which we would highly recommend, it's a 5 - 10 minute bus ride away - very family friendly and safe (like most places in Split) and also there are some brilliant restaurants nearby. Top marks to Julija and family for their dedicated effort!

Julija was extremely responsive from our very first message answering everything promptly and efficiently, he continued to do the same through our whole time there. The place itself is really great. It’s bigger than you see in the pictures, also it has a fantastic balcony which is not in the pictures?, the balcony is very relaxing place to sit in the eve or even all day as the street it’s in is very quiet too. Lots of useful amenities are close by too – main bus stops that take you into Split or Omis (definitely go there!) and shops - and a lovely small beach which is split into two sections - one for people.. and one for people with dogs! Yes, a dedicated doggo beach, so if you love dogs (which we do) it was a delight. I think Julija and family have been doing home exchanges for a few years so they are very knowledgeable/helpful and any enquiries are dealt with efficiently – they have a home manual they have made which they sent us covering all the most useful/necessary questions – it contains pictures of everything so it’s very easy to follow. Most of the time spent in the flat was out on the balcony as mentioned before, it is a very peaceful and relaxing place to sit after a day out in Split. We can only highly recommend Julija’s family flat exchange/stay. They are very professional and welcoming, (they left us a bottle of wine) you will feel safe completing an exchange or globe with them and will almost certainly enjoy your stay there. Initially we hosted Matheo, their son for small visit - he came to watch his favourite team as we live near them. He was a delight to have as a guest. He was very polite and warm and brought us lovely gifts!. Because of this, we had maintained contact with the family and always found them to be very reponsive and helpful and also felt like we had got to know them a little. Our stay at their beautful house in Bayon was perfect. Noteable was their excellent and constant support thoughout our stay if we needed it (us asking them, not them checking on us!). They were very quick to respond even though they were themselves on holiday. They also have a 'Bible' of a book they have printed and compliled (yes, with pictures) for the guests that covers everything - I mean Everything! - house/pool/garage/garden etc I should have checked there first but they didn't seem to mind me messaging them to ask basically anthying. The House was a perfect place for two young children (8) and us. The garden is a LOT bigger than in the pictures, it even has a kind of football pitch at the bottom. The layout of the house is also a big plus, I wont go into details but everything is in the right place and a good size. It is a very cool house without 'trying' to be cool. They even have a cool cat which we spent a lot of time with, I think he liked us! The Pool was definitely a highlight. I've been in smaller pools in hotels!, it's a great size and has easy steps into it and lights so we spent most of our time in it. The lighted seating area next to it matches it perfectly. Finally, we wish we had met them but that will be for another time. I can only fully recommend this family (and their incredible house) as they are experienced veterans at this! They know how to make you feel welcomed and properly supported what more could you want? 5 stars

This is our first time on PLU and ~ from our side ~ the exchange with Mathéo couldn't have gone better. Importantly, communication was maintained thoughout Mathéo's initial journey here and also thoughout the stay making sure his family (mainly Delphine, his Mum) was kept informed about how Mathéo was getting on. The message response times were always quick and the messages themselves were warm, personable and often funny. It felt easy to relay anything important or even not important!. Mathéo was a great house guest - respectful, warm and polite with a very good vibe. He even bought us flowers, and presents (so sweet) He had the kids room with the double bed, big t.v. and desk which he worked from most of the time. The main reason Mathéo came was to see Arsenal, his favourite football team - they won both times he saw them! which made him and us very happy. I would not hesitate to recommend exchanging with this lovely family. They are also PLU veterans, you will feel safe and informed all the way through your vist. Pip and Louise
