My home is a beautiful and comfortable 1100 sq ft Country Condo in the rolling Foothills of the Rocky Mountain range in Southern Alberta. The Condo is a lovely, self contained, soundproof unit above the garage of my daughter's large country home, located 15 minutes south of Calgary, and 10 minutes east of Okotoks on five acres.
Accommodations include a fully private 1 bedroom suite with 1.5 baths, full kitchen and dining room, living room, private laundry facilities, bbq, balcony, internet, and separate entrance.
A double air mattress and bedding can be made available for children.
We are close to everything! All roads are paved! You will need a car, but can easily get to grocery stores and into surrounding towns of High River, Okotoks, Black Diamond and Turner Valley as well as to the city of Calgary in 15 minutes. Kananaskis, Banff, Lake Louise, Drumheller and more are within 1-2 hours and make for wonderful day trips!
The space
The condo is a fully private and self contained unit attached to the main home in the loft space over the garage. The main home belongs to my daughter, her husband
and my two grandchildren. Free Parking is at the front of the house. Entry to the condo is accessible by a gravel walking path around the side and to the back deck of the house. There is one large master bedroom with queen sized bed and attached ensuite with large walk in shower and stacked laundry facilities. Open concept with full kitchen and great room including fireplace. Separate dining room with seating for six. Deck off the great room includes gas barbecue and seating for four. A powder room is in the hall off the main living area.
Guest access
One flight of carpeted interior stairs lead up to the Suite from the entry door. It is not wheelchair accessible.
Notes
Friendly dogs do live on the acreage, and will most likely greet you outside or as you drive up the driveway. They love people and are harmless. One is a black lab named Nora and the other is Penny, a chocolate lab!
