We are empty nesters from Ontario, Canada! We live a quiet simple life now that our two kids have grown. My background is in education and hubby is in the trades. We are posting our beautiful and cozy 4 season cottage by Lake Huron. We are located 5 minutes from Canada’s ‘Prettiest Town’’ (according to Queen Elizabeth)…Goderich, Ontario.
We have good wifi, taxis and pizza delivery. Our cottage is the perfect combination of feeling private but also close to local amenities. We are close to many great restaurants, beaches, wineries, breweries, theatres, and golf courses. Point Farms Conservation area is just next door. Paddle board rentals available in town which include delivery to the beach. I believe bike rentals are also available in town. Horse back riding about 25 minutes away. There is also a tour company that takes you to multiple wineries and breweries so you don’t have to worry about driving (called 519 Tours).
We a new back deck and a front deck that faces the east.
We can be very flexible with schedules as this is our secondary home. Spring and Fall are lovely. If you are into theatre and plays May to October may be the best time. It is also cozy in winter but it may be harder for to take advantage of all the other great places in the area.
We have tons of parking space if you were to drive an RV or if you towed a boat or trailer.
No smoking or pets please.
Non smoking and pet-free home’s preferred for swaps.
Thank you!
