General overview

Come and discover Brittany, Its culture is both French and Celtic. The department where Brest is located, Finistère, has a lot of tipycity: Its history: the dolmens of the neolithic, the Celts, the Middle Ages, the departures of the great explorers and the corsairs ... Its traditions, its folklore, its half Celtic half Christian legends, its music ... its seascapes with rocky coasts and beautiful beaches (never overcrowded even in summer). Its architectural heritage: small fishing ports, lighthouses, churches and chapels. Its cuisine: catch of the day, fish, Breton lobsters, crabs, shellfish. But also excellent delicatessen, bakeries and traditional pastry (with lots of butter). You can visit the Océanopolis aquarium, the castle and its marine museum, the marinas, the botanical garden, the Capucins district and its cable car ... Brest is ideally located to discover this end of the European continent, after 10 minutes and 1 hour maximum by road. If we exchange our houses, we will be happy to point out all of our best spots!

The space

Built in 1966, our house is over 115 m2. It is in the heart of the city but quiet because at the bottom of a dead end In the day part you will find a large living room, an independent kitchen and a WC. In the sleeping area you will find 1 parental bedroom with a large double bed, 1 children's bedroom with 1 single bed, 1 second children's bedroom with a loft bed and a sofa bed, 1 bathroom with large shower. In a semi-basement you will find a room with TV and video game console with a sofa bed and a babyfoot (table football). You will also find a flowered garden measuring 500 m2, not overlooked and with a trampoline. You can also play board games, video games or balloons, watch a DVD or read books and comics (in French of course). We have neither cat nor dog. Ideal for allergy sufferers. In the garden, however, we have our tortoise. No need to take care of it because it feeds alone in the garden. You just have to be careful not to step on it inadvertently!

Guest access

There is a step at the entrance, stairs to go down to the semi-basement, stairs to go down into the garden and the toilets are not wide enough for a wheelchair.

Notes

We recently moved into our home. It is simple but comfortable and well equipped. We are fairly silky and take good care of your home. If you have plants to water or the lawn to mow, I would be happy to do. Also, if you want to leave your dog at home, we will take care of it with pleasure (provided that he is kind of course). On the other hand, there are members of our family who are very allergic to cat hair and we cannot live in an apartment where a cat lives.

For athletes or children's games, we are 1 minute walk from an athletics stadium with, in addition, ground for football and rugby in synthetic lawn.

Pablo

We love traveling to meet new cultures and new people by taking the time for it. We are open to any house exchange offer, as long as it is in a very interesting, beautiful, culturally rich place suitable for our children. City, sea or mountain, whatever. We simply will not do a home exchange with a family having a cat for allergy reasons.
