General Overview

A warm Welcome to our home! ❤️ Right now, we look for wonderful places in: October 19th - Nov 3rd - open to European destinations Christmas & New Year - somewhere warm We just love to live in Hamburg - we think, it's really Germany's most beautiful (big) city. Come and convince yourself! :-) Our home is very central, surrounded by historic buildings and green trees. We live close to the huge city park (6 min walking) and also minutes away from the beloved Alster lake and Alster river! It is situated in a historic house, built in 1925, in Hamburg's typical red brick architecture. We have a wonderful historic elevator, also 100 years old and working better than ever. In case you are a sailor: We own a sailing boat on the Alster lake that you are welcome to enjoy! :-) Just 15 minutes walking from our home. Subway right around the corner - perfect public transport connections to enjoy the city.

The Space

Furnished with white stucco and timber piling, we offer you on 135 sqm: - big living room with home cinema and a Steinway piano - dining room with an antique wooden table for 6-10 people - kitchen with all modern appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, dryer etc.) - master bedroom with a king sized bed - 2 kids bedrooms, each with a double bed. - 2 balconies - a bathroom with bathtub/shower and an additional guest WC

Guest Access

We live on the first floor, but there is also an elevator if you arrive with luggage or come back with heavy shopping.

Notes

We have two very friendly cats - George and Cassidy - who are easy to care of and will enrich your holiday (if you are a cat lover. If you are not, you better looks somewhere else. :-))

Neighbourhood

You will fall in love with Hamburg and our district of Winterhude. It is one of the most desirable neighborhoods and it is fantastic to live here. We are surrounded by Art Nouveau houses, many restaurants and cafes and within walking distance of the huge city park (5 min) and the heart of the city, the Alster. Winterhude is very family-friendly (lots of playgrounds) and very safe. It is only a minute's walk to the subway, which takes you to all the main attractions in a few minutes - the harbour with its landing stages, the St. Pauli entertainment district around the Reeperbahn, the city centre with the beautiful Alster and the Jungfernstieg...

The airport is only 10-15 minutes away by taxi or 15-20 minutes by metro.

Getting Around

Nothing could be easier: the metro to all the sights and wonderful places leaves right behind our building. It is only a minute's walk away. But walking and exploring the neighborhood is also a lot of fun!
