General overview
Hello dear friends,
we welcome you to our home - we are sure you will have a wonderful time here!
We love living in Hamburg. For us, it really is one of the most beautiful cities in the world - its friendly people, its green parks and wide rivers and beaches(!), the historical and extraordinary buildings... and so much more to explore. We are much in love with it all and would love to share this with you.
Our cosy home is situated in the heart of all of this:
We live in the charming neighborhood Winterhude - a beautiful, historic district with lots of restaurants & cafés
A huge park for relaxing in nature is just around the corner. We´re only 15 minutes walk away from the beloved and famous Alster lake! For all sailors - we own a sailboat you can use. :-)
And the best is: the subway station only one minute from our home, so you can explore the city in the easiest way.
The space
Our apartment is in a historic house, built in 1925 in Hamburg´s typical red brick architecture and has a wonderful historic elevator from the year 1926 - and still working perfectly!
Our apartment is furnished with white stucco and timber piling and we offer you on 135 sqm:
- big living room with home cinema and a Steinway piano
- dining room with an antique wooden table for 6-10 people
- kitchen with all modern appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, dryer etc.)
- master bedroom with a king sized bed
- second (kids) bedroom with two bunk beds (further guest beds available)
- 2 balconies
- a bathroom with bathtub/shower and an additional guest WC
Guest access
We live on the first floor, but there is also an elevator, when you arrive with luggage or come back with heavy groceries.
Notes
We have two very loveable cats - Gershwin and Cassidy - who are easy to care for and will enjoy your company.

Neighbourhood
You will fall in love with Hamburg and with our district Winterhude. It´s one of the most desirable neighbourhoods and it´s fantastic to live here. We are surrounded by Art Nouveau houses, many restaurants and cafés and in easy walking distance to the huge city park (5 min.) and the heart of the city, the Alster lake. Winterhude is very family-friendly (a lot of playgrounds) and very safe.
It´s only a one minute walk to the subway that gets you to all the important sights within minutes - the harbour with its landing bridges, the amusement district St. Pauli around Reeperbahn, downtown with the beautiful Alster lake and Jungfernstieg...

The airport is only 10-15 minutes by taxi or 15-20 minutes by subway away.

Getting around
Nothing is easier: subway to all sights and wonderful places goes right behind our building. It is only a one minute walk. But also walking and exploring the neighborhood is much fun!
