Guest Access

Notes
We have two cats: 😺 Mikki and 😺 Jiji.
They have their own entrance (cat flap) and will only require food and fresh water once a day. Mikki likes to sleep and cuddle, but hates belly rubs! (She will let you know if you try! 😁). Jiji on the other hand, looooves belly rubs!

Neighbourhood
Child friendly neighbourhood. Playground 100 meters from the house. Two kid´s bikes available.
Getting to my home
From the airport to our house the easiest is to take a taxi. It is also possible to take a bus from the city center, but there are only a few routes that go to our neighborhood. The bus stop is 100 meters from our house.
Nearest airport
Bergen airport is 25 minutes from our house (by car). By public transport it will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Getting Around
It is best to have a car to get around. The bus stop is close to our house, but there are not very frequent buses, and none in the evenings or weekends. We can arrange so you will have an electric car at your disposal while staying at our house. The nearest grocery store and restaurants (Italian and Thai) are 2 km from our house. The nearest shopping mall is at Kleppestø, 4 km from our house.
To get to Bergen city, we recommend driving to Kleppestø (8-10 minutes drive). There you can park the car, and take the local boat right in to the city centre (12 minutes across).
Check out visitbergen.com and visitnorway.com for informatin about everything you can see and do in Bergen and surroundings.
There are hiking trails just a few minutes from our house. You can hike up to the highest "mountain" on Askøy, Kolbeinsvarden (231 meters high), in about 30 minutes. From there you have a spectacular 360 degree view of Bergen and the surrounding area.
