General overview
Our home overlooks the city of Nelson, and surrounding Kootenay mountains. From our deck you can watch the golfers below or borrow our clubs and have a round yourself! We are a short distance to iconic Baker Street where you will enjoy fantastic restaurants, quaint shops and a thriving arts culture, all the while taking in the beautiful heritage buildings. We are a short drive to Lakeside Park where you will enjoy the sandy beach, dips in Kootenay Lake or take a ride on our very own streetcar. A short walk from our home brings you to Art Gibbon Park where your kids can enjoy the skate park or have a round of disc golf. A 10 min drive brings you to our famous Pulpit Rock hike for stunning views of Nelson. If you come in winter, Whitewater Ski resort is only 20 mins from our door. Or, borrow our snowshoes and head out the back yard onto the golf course.
The space
Open concept kitchen, living and dining area. The kitchen is spacious and bright with bar seating for 3. Master bedroom has a king bed with access to deck. Large master bathroom with soaker tub and separate shower. Second bedroom is a child’s room with a single bed or option of a double bed. There is a third room with a futon, small TV, piano and desk. There is a memory foam pull-out couch in the living area.
Guest access
The main floor of a 2 storey home. Shared laundry with downstairs tenant. Guests have private use of the front patio and garden.

The house is located on Granite Pointe Golf course. The street is a quiet, dead-end road which is very safe for children. Very friendly neighbours.

My husband works in home building and I work in orthodontics. We have a son in primary school. We spend most of our free time outside, skiing in the winter, or at the beach in the summer. My son and I both play piano while my husband enjoys cooking and BBQing. When we have any extended time off we love to travel somewhere new.
