General overview
Our home overlooks the city of Nelson, and surrounding Kootenay mountains. From our deck you can watch the golfers below or borrow our clubs and have a round yourself! We are a short distance to iconic Baker Street where you will enjoy fantastic restaurants, quaint shops and a thriving arts culture, all the while taking in the beautiful heritage buildings. We are a short drive to Lakeside Park where you will enjoy the sandy beach, dips in Kootenay Lake or take a ride on our very own streetcar. A short walk from our home brings you to Art Gibbon Park where your kids can enjoy the skate park or have a round of disc golf. A 10 min drive brings you to our famous Pulpit Rock hike for stunning views of Nelson. If you come in winter, Whitewater Ski resort is only 20 mins from our door. Or, borrow our snowshoes and head out the back yard onto the golf course.
The space
Open concept kitchen, living and dining area. The kitchen is lovely and has bar seating for 3. A photo or two of the kitchen will be up shortly- just finishing the tile backsplash! Master bedroom has a king bed with access to deck. Master bathroom is spacious with a soaker tub and separate shower. Second bedroom is a child’s room with a single bed. There is a third room with a futon, small TV, piano and desk.
Guest access
The top floor. Shared laundry with downstairs tenant. Guests have private use of the front patio and garden.

Long-term tenant on the basement level. Some stairs upon entry and sunken living area.

My husband and I work full-time, him as a contractor building new homes and me in orthodontics. We have a son in primary school. We spend most of our free time outside, skiing in the winter, and beaching it in the summer. My son and I both play piano while my husband enjoys cooking and BBQing. When we have any extended time off of work/school we love to travel somewhere new.
