Our home has two levels . Ground floor has lounge kitchen dining room laundry with WC and back deck . There is also a meditation room with a pullout sofa bed . The top floor access is by stairs to two queen size bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and WC

Our home was constructed in 2022 with low maintenance and a green environment in mind. All living and bedrooms have ceiling fans and AC for summer and winter comfort. Most of our electricity comes from rooftop solar panels.
The kitchen has modern appliances, easy to use. The pantry will be stocked with basics for you to access.
The view of the rear of our new home ; landscape of this new home is evolving but we are progressing . The native garden attracts parrots to our back deck area.
We have a native garden at the back of the home ; there is also an edible garden with pawpaws , mulberries and various salad vegetables and herbs .

Our back garden is a sanctuary. As our native trees grow; we have increasing birdlife visiting. There is an edible garden; with an assortment of fruit and herbs for you to enjoy.

We have two kayaks for use in the sea or nearby creeks .
Stradbroke island is a true gem. We frequently do day trips or a weekend away there to enjoy the stunning scenery. We took this photo on one of the many walks around the headlands where turtles and dolphins play. The bushland is home to kangaroos and koalas.
Our studio space is home to many creatives; please let us know if you have an interest in art. We could provide a canvas and paint for you to enjoy your passion.

Manly Harbour is five minutes walk from our home. It will be the base for the sailing at the 2032 Olympics and is home to frequent large regattas.
Nearby Tangalooma on Moreton Island has snorkelling and wild dolphin feeding. Day trips and overnight accommodation are options.
Two minutes walk from our home is the gateway to Moreton Bay.. There are walking and cycling tracks to bush and restaurants
The bay islands are a day trippers delight .there are fishing and sailing charter boats available.
Lloyd is an accomplished artist with a studio in our back garden .
Brisbane’s Gallery of Modern Art GOMA stages many wonderful exhibitions ; it’s a 25 min train ride from home
We have enjoyed many home exchanges to beautiful parts of the world . It’s such a privilege to continue to make friends in this global village.

Whale watching is very popular from the Gold Coast Brisbane and Redcliffe from July to December.
There are glorious surfing beaches south on the Gold Coast or north at the Sunshine coast each approx 60 mins drive from home. They are both an easy day trip.

Students from Brisbane schools attend summer sailing classes. Royal Qld Yacht Squadron is home to many internationally accomplished sailors.
