Neighbourhood

Our neighbourhood is super quiet. Kladow mainly consists of family houses, lakes, the river Havel and a small port with restaurants. Of course you also have supermarkets, restaurants, some smaller shops and doctors and a hospital close by. The lakes with its beaches are one of the highlights. You have sandy beaches, perfect for children and to go with a sup board as there are no bigger boats permitted. The harbor of Kladow is another highlight because from there you can take several ferries - or to the other side of Berlins most famous lake: Wannsee - or to do some longer tours to Potsdam or Berlin city center.

Getting around

To go to Berlin city center you normally take one of the buses that go directly to Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten or to Bahnhof Spandau. From there you take the metro to go almost anywhere in Berlin. You also can take a bus to go to Potsdam with its famous castle Sanssouci and other touristic highlights. If you like to travel in a different way you take the ferry from Kladow harbour and take then the metro to go to Berlin city center from there.
