General Overview

Come and enjoy our comfortable and elegant cabin in the heart of the protected Camp Sherman natural area. Our cabin has it all — the wonders of nature with resort amenities (hot tub, lodge, courts, fishing pond, seasonal pool, creek, nearby river and lakes, and snow sports and attractions). It’s perfectly located just a short 15-minute drive from the picturesque town of Sisters and a 35-minute drive from Bend, Oregon with its unlimited outdoor recreation opportunities year round combined with a vibrant food/beer scene and laid-back vibe. If you love ponderosa pine trees, crystal clear creeks, rivers and lakes; wildlife, gorgeous views of mountain peaks and stars at night and appreciate the tranquility of Central Oregon at its best without compromising on comfort, then our cabin will feel like a dream come true. Cabin 28 is our second/vacation home. It accommodates up to six guests (4 adults and 2 children) and blends rustic cabin charm with contemporary design and amenities. Nestled on a 42-acre property that includes 22 cabins and a historic lodge, the cabin sits in a pristine old-growth ponderosa pine forest, with serene Lake Creek winding through the grounds. Cabin 28 is the most private and quiet in the property and at walking distance from all the resort amenities. Check out the Lake Creek Lodge website for more information and details about our cabin and the resort. You can also check out the description of the space in the section below. **We're able to use our cabin up to 7 consecutive nights every four weeks, approximately. Those dates are given to us in advance by the resort and can't be changed, unfortunately. The calendar shows our assigned dates each month. When there is an exchange request for a specific period within our assigned dates, I'll check with the resort to make sure there are no rental reservations pending before confirming availability. We appreciate globes or plutos and are also open to reciprocal exchanges.

Nearby our cabin -Hoodoo Ski Area: The best spot for affordable (no overpriced lift tickets), unpretentious, uncrowded skiing and snowboarding fun. It has 32 runs across 800+ skiable acres. It’s the largest night skiing terrain in the Northwest. The Autobahn Tubing Park will delight you with safe and family-friendly speed tubing lanes and its conveyor tow lift. You can also visit Hodag Lodge which has great food options, hot chocolate, a rental shop and lesson programs for everyone. Hoodoo is about 16 miles away or a 20-minute drive from Lake Creek Lodge. -Suttle Lake and Lodge: Suttle Lake is a natural alpine lake about 1.5 miles long. It’s one of the most underrated lake destinations in Central Oregon framed by dense forest and mountain views. It’s ideal for boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddling, sailing, fishing and swimming. The lodge has boat and gear rentals. You’ll also find rustic cabins and lodge rooms, a general store and restaurant with great food and seasonal live music. You’ll find great restaurants, supermarkets, food carts, boutique shops, galleries, artisan goods, farmers markets, craft brewery, coffee roasters, library, live music, and amazing events like the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, Sisters Folk Festival, Sisters Rodeo, and more. Sisters is a 15-minute drive from our cabin. -Bend: Bend is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts with a small-town vibe and big-city offerings. The city sits by the Deschutes River which is a hub for fun activities like floating, tubing, kayaking and paddle boarding.
