Neighbourhood
We are just steps away from Las Canteras beach which is a beautiful beach with a natural reef making it into a perfect snorkelling area when the tide is low.
There are also beach volley courts nearby, the surfing beach is about a 15 min walk along the promenade.
We are also within walking distance to most things at this end of the city. There are literally 100s of restaurants ato choose from and one of the main shopping streets (Mesa y Lopez) is about a 15 min walk.
Getting to my home
You will arrive at the airport and can either get a bus to Santa Catalina park and walk from there, or you can get a taxi from the airport (approx 30€ I believe).
Nearest airport
Las Palmas airport is around 26km away.
Getting Around
You can walk nearly everywhere in our end of the city. If you would like to go further afield, the bus service is very easy and cheap to use. We can also happy to talk about a car swap if reciprocal.

We are a couple in our 50s who adore travelling! We have two grown up girls who live abroad, one in the Netherlands and the other in Australia. My husband is Spanish and I am originally from Wales, UK, but have lived in the Canary Islands Spain since 1995. We love eating out, diving, hiking, snorkelling and exploring new places. We are considerate, non-smokers, and very respectful and grateful.
