General Overview
We live in a lovely coastal home in Central Queensland. Our place has a very 'beachy' feel, and you can walk from the house onto Farnborough beach in about 5 minutes. We're on a hill, and have spectacular sea and beach views from both inside and out on the large deck.
Relax and drink in the views across to a number of Islands, and the sound of the waves is super soothing!
Yeppoon boasts beautiful beaches and a vibrant foreshore area that is perfect for a stroll or relaxation. The free to use infinity lagoon pool adjacent to the beach is amazing!
The town is the primary departure point for trips to the stunning islands of the Great Keppel group and the nearby Great Barrier Reef.
The main street and esplanade are lined with trendy boutiques, surf stores, and numerous restaurants and cafés serving local produce, including seafood, beef, and tropical fruits.
The town features a growing street art scene with murals adorning walls, contributing to its chic coastal vibe.
The Space
There are two floors in the home, you enter thought the front door on the main living level, which has an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom is also on this level.
All rooms have ceiling fans and we also have air conditioning throughout. However, we catch lovely sea breezes so rarely need to use these.
Doors lead out from the lounge to the spacious deck, which has comfortable chairs for lounging and a dining table.
Downstairs are the two two double bedrooms, both with queen sized beds. There is a large family bathroom with walk-in shower, and spa bath and a separate toilet. There's also a laundry area. There are sliding doors out to another outdoor seating area on the garden level, with lounge chairs and sea views.
There's shared pool in our landscaped garden space.
Guest Access
Level throughout on the first floor (main living area). internal stairs down to lower level.
We have parking directly outside the house, and an attached double garage.
Notes
Seeking globes to help us with our future plans.
Happy also to arrange non-sim exchanges, as we're often away travelling.
We would be willing to exchange cars if this could be agreed on.
Really open to proposals for longer stay as we can be away from home for several months.

We felt so lucky to have Mel, Mike and Brody as our first ever PLU guests. Communication was excellent from the out-set, and they were very respectful and caring of our home. When we returned it was sparkling clean, they had left a gorgeous platter and treats in the fridge and even mowed the lawn! Unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to meet face to face this time, but look forward to our future visit to their home in Canada, and the opportunity to meet there. Thankyou so much! x

Geraldine & Terry
Hi there! We are Geraldine & Terry, a retired couple, originally from the UK, and recently moved from Brisbane to our beach house in Yeppoon. After the busyness of Brisbane, we're loving the laid back coastal vibe here, and I'm sure you will too! We're interested in longer exchanges particularly, and generally have the freedom to travel at anytime. It will usually be just the two of us, but occasionally may be with close family, but we'd always check that this would be OK prior to an exchange. We would be very respectful of your home, and ensure everything is well cared for, and leave it neat, clean and tidy,
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
