Balsa, Tokaj wine region and Tisza river, three upstairs guest rooms, with pool

The space

We live by the Tisza River in a simple and quiet village environment. There are three guest rooms on the second floor of our house, so we can host a larger family or a group of friends. Separate entrance rooms, each with its own private bathroom with shower. each room has two single beds and a bunk bed. For our guests on the same level there is a small kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, full kitchen equipment. We live on the lower level and here is our office. This part is not replaceable. The pool is 8.5 * 4 meters, and 1.4 meters deep, closeable. It is heated by a solar collector and therefore has a pleasant temperature. In the yard there is a seesaw, climbing, trampoline and a basketball hoop. In the summer house we can bake in the oven, there is a place for cooking, and bacon-roasting, with equipment and firewood. The garden is full of fruits. The poultrys are in the back yard. We keep hens, chickens, pearls. We have a playful terrier, Mici. There are many attractions and activities in the area.   • Timea was a wonderful host. She offered us two rooms in her charming guesthouse. Her home was easy to find and there was plenty of room to park our car. Timea greeted us in person with the most delicious langos I have experienced and she offered plenty of recommendations of things to do in the area. There was a communal kitchen which had everything we need and Timea provided coffee for us during our visit. I recommend coming by car as this area in general is much easier to access with a vehicle. We had a BLAST exploring Tokaj and the other towns in the area and of course plenty of wine tasting. I hope more PLU members will experience this beautiful part of the Hungarian countryside. Tímea

We live near the Tokaj wine region, next to the Tisza river, in a quiet, rural environment.We have already organized several successful exchanges (16) and only gained positive experiences. I, Tímea (1970), am an administrator, István (1963) is a civil engineer and our son Áron (2002) is a university student.Usually we travel just the two of us, but sometimes our son also go with us. The summer is mostly spent with work, we prefer to travel in spring or autumn, so we mainly do not organize simultaneous exchanges. We welcome our guests in the apartment with three guest rooms on the first floor of our house in Balsa.That floor is for our guests only. We are also happy to exchange our apartment in downtown Debrecen.
