General overview

Craft for Community lodge is a beachfront lodge on the Pacific Ocean outside the small, rural fishing village of El Transito, Nicaragua. The lodge is 3,200 sq/ft and has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bunk rooms downstairs. We are a 40 minute walk to the village by way of the beach and a 15 minute walk to the closest surf break. Our home is down a rocky road that requires a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

The space

We are a family of 4 with two little boys who live in Nicaragua. We run a social enterprise and are teachers (art and Spanish/English). We love to show people the amazing beach village that we live in and provide ways for travelers to have a lasting and positive impact on our community.
